Being the Cullens adopted human daughter isn't easy. Nor is being a nurse, which I have worked very hard to achieve. I've thought about becoming a vampire. Having the powers sounds fun, not so much the drinking blood part. The Cullens house stands tall and proud among the towering evergreens of Forks. Its glass walls reflect the perpetual gray of the Washington sky. Inside our family is gathered on a rare afternoon when everyone's schedules align. I sit at the grand piano on its cushioned bench. My fingers glide across the cool, ivory keys. Ive been holding a secret close to my heart, though I'm sure everyone knows by the second heart beating inside of me. Esme hums to herself as she arranges a new bouquet of flowers in a crystal vase. She turns to me with a warm, concerned look in her eyes.
"Darling, you've been quieter than usual. Are you feeling alright?" I lift my gaze to meet hers, my hands pausing stopping the music. "I'm alright, just tired." My excuse is as thin as the mist outside. I move a strand of hair behind my ear, whilst very aware of my hands subconsciously lingering toward my abdomen. A habit I've developed over the past weeks. My stomach has grown ever so slightly over the past two months, as has my appetite. Something I'm sure others have taken note of. Edward stares at me, his jaw tightening. Rosalie stills, and Emmett is obviously humming, unaware of the growing tension in the room. "You've been tired for a month," Rosalie speaks flatly, turning from her spot by the window to face me. Her golden eyes flick toward my midsection. "You're never this tired, y/n. You're twenty-seven and have been working as an intern nurse for a while now. You're used to being tired, pushing through illnesses... You've been taking it easy. Being more cautious with what you eat and how much you work." Silence envelops the room. "Since no-one else wats to say it, you're pregnant. About six weeks give or take. We all hear a second heartbeat in your body. Who's the father?"
"...Charlie Swan."
The mans name hangs in the air like smoke. Esmes hands freeze mid fliral arrangement, a stray rose petal falling to the floor. Rosalies eyes widen, Emmets humming stops, and Edward completely stills. "You've been seeing the police chief?... Bellas father?" His voice is careful as he tries to sound as neutral as possible, and not toally freaked out. "You didn't think to mention this anytime soon... Preferably before he impregnanted you."
My hair falls across my forehead once more, and I tuck it back behind my ear. "It's not exactly dinner conversation." I mutter, but they all hear it. Rosalie snorts, arms crossed. "That's one way to put it."
My jaw tightens and I rub the fabric of my (f/c) cotton cardigan. Along with my cardigan I wear gray sweatpants and striped grippy socks.
"It's really not that big of a deal. I'm an adult." I attempt to keep my voice steadier the gnawing feeling in my stomach. Rosalies gaze is skeptical. I sit up straighter than I tend to, copying Carlisles good posture. Rosalie steps closer to me now, to get a better look I assume. "You may be an adult, but you're human. Charlies also human. You work at the same hospital as Carlisle, coincidentally the same one Charlie often visits. People will talk."
"Let them talk. I have nothing to hide. I'm pregnant and Charlie is the father. He's aware if this by the way."
Edward tilts his head, studying me with an unerving intensity. "That's not what's bothering you, though." He can't read my mind, but he has known me for twenty six years. He watched me grown from a scrawny, feverish baby into a well fed woman. I was abandoned as a baby at FCH (Forks Community Hospital.) Carlisle was kind to take me in and generous to actually raise and care for me more than providing money. The Cullens, my family know me well. They know my tells, especially Edward.
I press my hand flatly against my stomach. Esme steps away from her flowers to take my hands in hers, helping me up and continuing to hold my hands as I stand before her. "You don't have to tell us." She starts. "But you don't have to carry it alone, either."
The rain falls heavy outside, tapping on the glass. "If you all must insist on knowing... I plan on moving in with Charlie. We've been talking about it, and I think it would be the best course of action given the baby."

"Megami!! You're back!" I run up to Megami and hug her tightly for a quick moment before pulling back, having forgotten she doesn't favor touch. "Sorry! I got excited, you've been gone for forever! Where have you been??" "I have been attending to some private matters outside of school, aishi-kohai." "Megaami, I'm only a few months younger than you. We're in the same grade; there's no need to refer to me as an underclassman." "Act your age, then I might stop." "You're soo mean megami. Oh, I know! Why don't you make up for lost time and spend lunch together? I know you're busy every morning and after school, so-" "Whilst I appreciate your invitation... kohai, I have some matters that need urgently attended to." "Waah so early? So, mean, why don't I follow you around? All my other friends are busy and Ayano's off doing who knows what so early." "Aishi Ayano? You know her?" "Uhh, I would sure hope so. She's my younger sister you silly goose. Have I never mentioned her before?"
"I digress, lets focus on more important things; like you being back! Come with me, I want to show you the changes in the gardening club. We've been practicing scultping bushes!" "I believe what you mean to say is topiary."
Most haven't heard of the third daughter of Queen Iduna and King Agnarr. Eira (pronounced Aye-ruh) as born at four pounds. Given a weak heart and body, by some miracle she lived. As she grew, though her heart strengthened, her body was still weak. This is the 1840s, if it were modern day Eira would've been diagnosed with Myositis (Idiopathic Inflammatory Myopathy.) "Myositis makes your immune system attack your muscles. Depending on which type of myositis you have, you’ll have a hard time moving or using your affected muscles. There’s no cure for myositis, but in most cases, treatment can put it into remission." - https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/24170-myositis
A/N: I myself do not have myositis so I apologize if this is innacurate. Btw this is oc x canon character. Feel free to insert yourself and replace her name with y/n. It is easier for me to write with "reader" having a name. I also apologize if I mischaracterize Hans or any of the other characters. In my defense, it is best to write bad than use AI.

The castle is busier than usual. Marie says it's Elsas corination. "I suppose that means I must leave my bed?" I ask my handmaiden. Marie was assigned to me when I was a teen. I'm twenty years of age, Anna eighteen, and elsa is twenty two. "Indeed, your highness. Your 'moving chair' is ready. We just need you dressed." "Surely no-one will miss me. Hardly anyone knows I breathe." "Your highness..." "I shal attend anyway. My older sister is to be crowned, it is only polite. When adressing her I shal stand, no matter the strain."
°♡☆
I am led into my bathroom to be bathed. I have to be set into the warm water with the help of Marie and another. I am embarrassed by my state, yet I can do nothing about it. Warm, even hot water is good for the joints. My doctor has me set on a strict diet in hopes it'll help. Most days I spend in my bed. Occasionally I leave my room to spend time in the garden with Anna. A part of me is jealous of her liveliness. I am dried and dressed into a silky designed gown. My hair is styled in an updo, and my face lightly colored and powdered. "You're gorgeous, your highness." "Flattery will take you far, Marie." My dress is similar to Annas, but blue. Entering the Chappell would be too difficult for me as it is packed. So is the ballroom... but I push through. When it comes time to wish well upon the Queen, I stand from my chair and am led up to her with the help of Marie. I has her dressed in a dress the same shade of blue with the same materials, only less detailed.
°♡☆
"I wish your rule well, dear sister. It is good to see you after so long. I apologize for not visiting as often as I would like." "There is no need to speak so formally with me, Eira. How do you fare?" "Quite well, majesty. My condition is the same as always. Luckily today it's only aches, less pain." As I say this my muscles tense and begin to hurt. Marie sets me down in my moving chair. "Her highness can only stand for a short time. Apologies, majesty." Speaks Marie. "There is no need to apologize. I thank you for pushing through to see me Eira. Please enjoy the celebration and take it easy."
I notice Anna dancing with others, being dragged into one dance to another by different men. I had almost forgotten my younger sister is of age. I hope she finds a man of kindess and honesty. I am rolled up to the snacks and sweets, Marie plating me and then bringing me outside to the garden where it is quieter and I can enjoy myself. The red haired man I saw her speaking with steps outside to breathe fresh air, and takes notice of my presence. Hans remembers Anna had briefly mentioning a second sister named Eira. "Good evening, how do you fare?" "I am well, thank you. Have you come outside to escape the noise?" "Indeed. Have you as well?" "I as well. It's best I stay out here, anyway. My name is Eira. I would mention my title, though I doubt you'd take my word." "You are Princess Eira, aren't you? Anna mentioned you." "I'm sure she did. All good things I hope."
The wind is light, the night air slightly chilling. Tis spring, the flowers, quite the selection, are blooming wonderfully this time of year. "Surely you have a name?" "My apologies, Eira. I had lost myself in your beauty and forget to properly introduce myself. I am Hans Westergaard of the Southern Isles, youngest of thirteen-" "Thirteen?! Ahem, p-pardon me. I did not mean to be so rude. T-thirteen?" Hans chuckles at my reactiont. "Yes, thirteen. I have twelve older brothers. There is no need to apologize for your reaction. I understand it is quite high." "No kidding, is your mother alright?" "Uh... yes, she is alright. Now that we have been introduced to one another, if you are free, would you like to go on a stroll? I would love to know more about you." "You.. willingly, by your own, wish to converse with.. me? Why, were you dared." "No, no nothing like that. I simply wish to know more about you. Don't worry, I will talk about myself when asked so it's not just you talking, if that's what you worry about."
"I.. suppose I am free."
Hans and I walk through the courtyard into the looming castle halls. We pass many gold framed paintings that have been collected over the years. By years, I mean decades of our family's reign. From my father and mother to their father and mother. Art, no matter the form or who creates it; is gorgeous. Portraits, realism, expressionism, poetry, literature, the list goes on. As we walk, we reach a family portrait. "We were young when our parents were taken from us." Lighting struck the ship. Despite the intense waters shaking the ship and splashing aboard and rain, the fire raged. "No-one survived." "That's... horrible, I'm so sorry for your loss." "Thank you. I like to think we've managed. Wealth helps when such losses arise."
Shouts come from the ball room. We rush over to see what has occurred. We push through the crowd just in time to see Elsa run outside. Ice... a sharp ice wall blocks most of space in front of the door where Elsa once stood. Anna runs after her, Hans and I follow. He rolls me up beside Anna, leaving Marie behind. Elsa appears distressed. Anna keeps pushing with her questioning. The people are smiling, seeming expectant of a positive response, at least a smile back. It's not their fault they don't know. "Elsa, take some deep breaths. Anna, please give her some space to breathe. ..Elsa, it's okay. Let's head back inside and-" "And what??! Go back to my room? I can't go back inside I-"
The people gasp as Elsa freezes the fountain by accident. I stand in an attempt to run after her as she flees. My legs immediately fail and Hans grabs me by my arms just in time to set me down. Anna chases after Elsa.

Snow falls heavily across Arendelle. The soft cold white packs itself on the rooftops and ground, blanketing everything. The water is slick, frozen waters turned to ice. It has been like this for days. Our visitors can not return home for it is too dangerous. Traveling in such weather would be too risky... and boat is not an option due to the waters being frozen. Elsa broke down and ran off. I hope she is alright, and Anna will return with her. Both of them, alive. For now they are gone. I would say I'm alone, but that would be a lie. I have Hans by my side. He is as warm as the hearth he keeps burning for us. I know it is improper... but I have allowed Hans to stay in my bed during his prolonged stay. I know it is far too soon to marry him but... I.. don't know. There's just something about his smile and words that draw me in. He's so charismatic. His words are sweeter than any nectar. He reassures me and the people that everything will be alright. He is confident and kind, giving out blankets to warm wood to burn. I have assisted in knitting blankets and poorly made gloves. I am not well practiced in making clothes. I prefer to make blankets and offer them to those in need. I gaze upon Hans as he sits by the fire wrapped in one of the blankets I made. My heart warms as my mind wanders on the fact I'm crushing on someone for the first time ever. Well... a real person. I have crushed on many of the men I have written. I confess I often daydream. Laying in bed most days gives me time to ponder. Surely Hans is unclaimed... He has no wedding ring.

My name is ___ Wayne, daughter of Bruce Wayne. I am his first biological child, and first child in general. Bruce adopted Jason Todd when he was about fourteen, and I was fifteen. I didn't care all too much when the boy was adopted. Despite this, I still looked out for him in our shared classes and made him feel cared for. Over time we became close. You can imagine how devastated I was when the Joker murdered him. I never trained as the two did as I never even thought of becoming a hero or vigilante, so I didn't see the point. I wish I had trained. I wish I had at least gotten good with weapons. Maybe then I'd have been able to save my brother's life. I don't understand why father let him die. I blame him. He had the skills, had the weapons/resources... Yet... He didn't save him. My logical brain says he must've been afraid of what he'd see. My more emotional side says he's a coward. You think you're afraid, Father? Jason was afraid. He was frightened. He is the one who died. Sometimes when I get really sad, I imagine if It'd have been best if Bruce died in his place while saving Jason. But then we'd be orphans. With the way he focuses more on his other children as he adopts more and more, maybe it'd be better if Jason and I were parentless. Although I'm a loner, I'd appreciate it if I wasn't so ignored. At least Alfred talks to me. I like Alfred, he's a nice man.

Years pass; I'm a young adult now. Apparently, I have a half-brother, Damian. He's... interesting. We don't talk much.
Damian and I have been getting along more as the months pass. I've let him warm up to me as one would a cat.
I'm twenty now, and I have a lot on my plate. All on my own doing. I love film, and I've been taking quite a few college classes (mostly online.)
Damian says my films need work lolol. I think he didn't want to seem soft, so he went with a more neutral aproach.
Damian... got kidnapped by the Joker. Same sort of building as Jason's kidnapping... ...
...
I...
I didn't think when doing what I did. No experience with fighting or weapons. I stole one of Bruces guns. I shot and killed Jokers minions and shot at the clown. I hope he doesn't wake up. I untied Damian and held his unconscious form in front of me as I drove my motorcycle back to the manor. I placed my helmet on his head. His body is covered in cuts and bruises. I feel ill.
I had Alfred do the stitching. I cleaned the wounds and the dirt off him with wipes. He's cleaned and bandaged up in the "infirmary." I dressed him in our matching pajamas and changed into mine after a warm shower.
Bruce is mad at me. I don't think he deserves to be upset at me for doing his job for him. I said some mean, but truthful things as he lectured me. I... think I still mean what I said. I don't know any more after some reflection. Diary... am I in the wrong? Am I in the wrong for saying -

"What you did was incredibly reckless ___! You could've been injured or worse!!" "At least I did something! You like to play vigilante, always helping other people out but when it comes to your own children, blood or not, you leave us be! Did you seriously expect me to sit around and do nothing?! I'm not a child anymore, Bruce! I couldn't just sit around and do nothing... not a second time." ___ begins to tear up. She takes a deep breath and continues.
"To this day I wonder why you did nothing for Jason. I've excused your lack of action as you being afraid to see Jason's physical state. The bruises... wounds... I would be horrified if I were in your shoes. But he needed help. He needed you, and you weren't there for him. He died, and I blame you."
"___!"- "Don't you ___ me! He died because of your cowardice! I refuse to have a second brother of mine face the same fate! So yes, I grabbed some of your weapons, donned a mask, and went to save my brother. In the process I shot Jokers "goons" and shot the joker himself multiple times. I hope he does'nt wake up." "_"-
"DON'T INTERUPT ME! ... If he is dead, and you attempt or even dare succeed at bringing the Joker back to life, I will kill you myself. I will kill you, and I will bury you somewhere where no-one will find you. That way you can't be brought back. I'm going to run to the store and get some things for Damian. Be a good father for once and go comfort your son."

A long time ago nearing the end of the human and fae war Lilia made a deal with a dangerous fae who he thought he could trust. She watched over him as he grew and would tend to his wounds and bruises as a parent would. When he would call her mother, she grew colder than usual. Said fae has clawed scaly hands as a dragon would. In her long life she has made many deals with others and is the main reason people believe all/most fae take ones first born. In turn of winning the war, Lilia made a deal with "Maeve." Often referred as an enigma, cruel beast, beast, monster,
She was the inspiration of Rumpelstiltskin. She considers it an ugly name. Most consider +her ugly. Lilias parents abandoned him when he was young. It was to save him from Maeve, for they made a deal with her to save the mother and child. They would rather have him die alone than be grown and eventually killed by Maeve. She absorbs the life and magic of those first borns to prolong her life and return her beauty, similar to Mother Gothel.
Lilia was not specific with his deal, and Maeve took advantage of that. She has always been great at deceiving and shapeshifting. She made it easier to kill Malaenor, siding with the humans, disguised with a fake identity. She knew how much Malaenor trusted Lilia, she knew he would be entrusted with her spawn (Malleus egg.) The Draconia bloodline is quite powerful... if only she could consume such a being. She raises each first born gifted to her. Though Malleus may not technically be Lilias first born, he is a first born.
As time would go on the child grew on her and she no longer wished to eat him. The only reason she didn't consume Silver is because he was too weak.
°❀⋆.ೃ࿔:・࿔‧ ֶָ֢˚˖𐦍˖˚ֶָ֢ ‧࿔°❀⋆.ೃ࿔:・
Maeve looms over Silvers crib, gazing upon the fair skinned babe and silvery hair. "I forget how squishy and fragile babes can be. I have not raised one in some time. They are tastier when their magic is stronger. This one shall always be weak."
"You think that only because he's human."
"I have had many human children. They all proved themselves to me. This one... I have no hope for. You are still indebted to me."
"I wasn't planning on giving him up to you."
"If you can not pay me back with a life, I will have to take yours. Or... a handsome sum of coin."
"How handsome?"
"However much you'd sell the child for. Given how much you care for him, do not underpay me. I will give you a year. I am very generous, aren't I? Giving you so much time."
Lilia stands beside her, deep in thought. "Do not think of tricking me." Maeve says stonely. "I do not like when tricks are targeted towards me."
°❀⋆.ೃ࿔:・࿔‧ ֶָ֢˚˖𐦍˖˚ֶָ֢ ‧࿔°❀⋆.ೃ࿔:・
By the end of the year Maeve is paid in gold. A bag weighing the same as his son. "How very kind of you. Your debt is no more. I look toward making more deals with you in the future. You have no idea how difficult people are these days. Why, many years ago I was promised a babe and they got rid of him. Such insolence... They are no more."
Hello Capri :D , I had an idea based on a post made by klaurinchen on insta. What if Yuu was put into one of the dorms? Yuu is not of the Twisted Wonderland world, but what if despite this, we/them was selected to be a part of one of the seven dorms (with or without grim) instead of being brought to Ramshackle?
Ooof this was a brainstorm for me tbh but it was a fun one nonetheless! Hope this is okay!!
Warning this is gonna be a long post cause I'm doing all of em' ehe. It is practically without any mentions of Grim (my baby 😭) but he is always with Yuu,TRUST.
Heartsyabul would be accommodating definitely because Riddle would still count Yuu as a part of his responsibility and what sort of Housewarden would he be if he put out such a poor display of acceptance? He disagrees with the outcome and probably felt offended on behalf of the Queen of Hearts herself but still, a responsibility is a responsibility.
He's stricter with Yuu than he's with anyone else and it's more because he believes they're incompetent rather than because he thinks they'd have the gall to go against the rules. It's degrading in a sense because he doesn't hide his disdain nor does he let Yuu forget what an honor it is for them to still be able to represent the dorm when they clearly fall way below its standards. It's hard at first but given time and extreme effort on their part, Riddle would eventually come to accept them as long as they do nothing to tarnish their dorm's reputation. He doesn't soften exactly but he's not so demeaning at least.
If Riddle is the looming force over Yuu's shoulder then Trey is definitely a much needed balm. He's sympathetic and the most visibly concerned about Yuu's placement in their dorm. Unlike most of the boys, he finds the fact they're unable or more specifically doesn't have magic pretty interesting and would spend time getting to know Yuu the most. It's both genuine and self indulgent.
While he does believe Yuu should've just been left without being assigned a dorm, he does his best to avoid making them feel like too much of an outsider. Sentiments like "Come to me when you need help" and "You're one of us,after all." Is common with him.
Cater is a bit of a whirlwind. He's easily the most friendly and chattier amongst the seniors and the fact that Yuu is so different gives him all the more motivation to probe and hover. Like Trey, Cater felt that Yuu being placed in Heartslyabul was a terrible idea given their situation but he's also a believer that if you don't like lemons but life keeps giving it to you anyways, well, then make lemonade and sell them for profit!
In his own way he's trying to motivate and cheer Yuu up so even when he does tend to get overbearing, it's all because he sees Yuu's disadvantage and wants to help.
Deuce is probably the most thoughtful one in the group. Where Trey stabilizes and Cater rallies on, Deuce is doting in a sense where he actually sees Yuu as a person first instead of an anomaly. He worries about them and sees them as someone he needs to help guide and protect but at the same time he actually lets Yuu experience a semi mundane school life and unknowingly make them feel at home, if not at least welcomed.
He prides himself on making sure Yuu knows what they need to know about Twisted Wonderland and NRC and is always reassuring them about their circumstances. Although most of the time he can be a bit dense, his heart is definitely in the right place.
Ace is a menace. He probably bullied Yuu the first few weeks (plural, yes.) and then some, before he got into a fight with Deuce about it and then they both got reprimanded by Riddle. It's not that he actually dislikes Yuu but the whole situation is pretty funny to him until he starts seeing how it affects them personally... Well, even that took a while and was developed because Riddle had him,Deuce and Yuu spending half a month on flamingo feeding as a form of punishment. Eventually, he gets along with them and even when it doesn't really stop him from poking fun at their magicless being, he does bristle a little at other people who try and make fun of them.
Savanaclaw is a challenge. Figuratively and literally. There isn't a day where Yuu is allowed to drop their guard or think they're excluded from any sort of dorm activity or practices just because there's some normie.
Leona is neither kind nor harsh, but he did laugh a little in disbelief when the dark mirror sorted them into his dorm. He went and sized Yuu up almost like a predator about to go in for the kill, but surprisingly after a while of just studying them, both the intimidation and smugness faded and Leona merely shrugs before walking away from Yuu.
"Bad luck for you, herbivore." He said without much bite in it. "But I guess you'll be stuck at the lowest of the food chain."
He doesn't bother or interact with Yuu much but he does keep a duly eye on them. He doesn't think much about it mainly because he somehow understands that it's unlikely for the dark mirror to make a mistake. It's not that he trusts or expects Yuu to surprise him by proving which part of them even belongs in Savanaclaw, but Leona can't help but notice how they have been able to survive the grueling attitudes of the other dorm members for the past few weeks, some even beginning to be friendly with them because of it. Despite themselves, Yuu didn't seem to take any of the jeers or roughhousing personally and somehow that earned them a sort of respect from their fellow students.
Now this is what eventually makes Leona more interested in them and that basically just means he'd find ways to test their limits or see how far they can adapt. He'd even make a joke saying he's using them as his personal social guinea pig and that's the closest thing to him saying he likes them.
Ruggie sees an opportunity in Yuu and doesn't shy away from taking it. I mean, why wouldn't he? Yuu is practically a hidden gem to him. Tired of going to Spelldrive practices? Need some time away from all the roughhousing?
"Shehehehe,no problem,Yuu! Sure thing!" Ruggie would even look delighted to see them looking for a way of out of those things. "Course' this means you owe me and I got some things I just know you'd be able to help with, shehehehehe!"
Contrary to this, Ruggie is actually the most laid back with Yuu. He doesn't feel bad about their situation since it could've really been worse, say like, being thrown out of the school and becoming homeless, so instead of just lying around and mopping about it he figured it's just better to put that body to work! He's also the first to get sentimental about them but he'd never admit that out loud.
Jack is...well, he makes it very clear to Yuu that the dark mirror doesn't make any mistakes, at least, not major ones like this, so this must mean they do have it in them.
"Uh..have what in me?"
"The tenacity of the King of Beasts."
"...right."
He's very serious about this and there isn't much Yuu can say about it since he's anything but a bad guy. In fact, Jack is just as forthcoming as Ruggie is albeit for other reasons of course. He doesn't necessarily babies them and nor is he completely indifferent about them being the only student in the dorm to not be able to use magic, but Jack does make the effort to ask if they need anything and keeps an eye out for anyone who might take a chance at beating up a normie.
Octavinelle...is a bridge between Heaven and Hell. On one hand, Azul would definitely use Yuu as a sort of leverage (blackmail) in order to get whatever it is his twisted little heart wants from Crowley, which in turn implies Yuu has a significant value to them, but on another hand, Yuu becomes Octavinelle property by default, which basically means their fate is literally in the favor of Azul.
He was horrified at first because what would a normie even be useful for when even people with magic was also a pain in his rear, that is until he realized what had fallen into his lap. A golden opportunity; One he would be a complete fool to ignore!
Azul likes to think he comes off as anything but kind and patient to Yuu but the latter probably sees right through his scheming. There wouldn't be much to complain really since Azul would do his utmost to make Yuu feel like they simply cannot live without him. They're pampered but also monitored, both a stepping stool and an awkward first pet.
Jade loves it. In fact, he finds Yuu immensely intriguing and it's a normal occurrence for them to spend half the time of their day with him, whether answering his questions or just recounting what their old life used to be. He is one of the reasons it's easier for Azul to map out how to keep Yuu tethered to them since it's due to his conversations with them that they're able to feel like Octavinelle is a safe place even if it can come off a little questionable.
The aspect of them he likes the most is the fact that they're unable to use magic but are fairly competent and level-headed during hurdles and inconveniences.
Floyd treats them exactly like a pet he never asked for but ends up adoring regardless. It's like a mix of having a giant terrifying friend who will make sure no one takes advantage of you but also someone equally capable of giving you headaches.
For the most part, Floyd is pretty amused by Yuu. The fact they're Human and can't use magic but still tries to stare people down, the way they got used to both him and Jade fairly quickly after realizing they wouldn't really harm him, how they're significantly smaller but very big in personality... honestly how could he not like having them around?
Amongst the trio, Floyd is probably the one who calls dibs on anything with Yuu. He doesn't really think much about why or how they were still sorted into a dorm despite being a magicless outsider.
Scarabia is the most forthcoming. The students there were bewildered at first but when Kalim had announced that a party was in order to celebrate their special friend, none of them took it as a bad thing at all. In fact, the Scarabia students warmed up to Yuu the quickest and showed great interest in who they were and how their life before this was, some even taking the initiative to explain how this side of the world worked.
Kalim especially was beyond excited to hear Yuu talk about it. The boy's eyes glimmered and even when kept saying he couldn't possibly understand how their world worked, he was earnest in it and in everything else he did actually. He refers to Yuu as Scarabia's special gem and easily treats them like they'd been friends for years. He doesn't seem bothered that Yuu can't use magic but does get worried when one of the students mentioned how it would be hard for Yuu to completely keep up in classes. He would offer to give Yuu a magical tool to help and claims that he'll bring it up with the Headmage about it.
Jamil is a rather different mood altogether. It's not that he openly expresses his grave disagreement about letting a student like Yuu even exist in the first place, but it subtly shows in how he sighs or how deep in thought his eyes would be when Yuu catches him alone. It's more contemplation rather than worry on his part and Jamil is trying his best to not act cold or annoyed by Yuu.
Unlike Kalim, Jamil thinks Yuu should not be enrolled regardless of the mirror still choosing for them. He believes the right course of action is to reduce the dead weight which Yuu will inevitably become once class starts. He isn't overly friendly or entirely cold but there is a distance which he keeps between them. He starts thawing once he sees Yuu grow fond of the dorm and the people in it, and most importantly he sees effort. Relentlessly. To keep up and help around. To not take any of it for granted. And though it does take time for him, eventually Jamil too welcomes them as a student.
Ignihyde is a mess and in shambles. Almost all of them are freaking out and making wild assumptions of this as if it's the equivalent to doomsday itself. It's probably the dorm that has Yuu the most overstimulated.
Idia makes it worse by just spouting all sorts of theories and making references that Yuu fails to understand and keep up. He's bewildered that they have no magic but still got sent and then accepted into a school of magic, NRC of all places too. He laughs at it a couple of times out of discomfort but then the indignation settles in and he grumbles about how this might even be some ruse to embarrass the whole dorm.
He's reluctant to accept them but seeing how there's little to no choice here, he just has to suck it up. At first he treats Yuu like some npc that will inevitably toggle an unwanted side quest if he gets too close to them but when Ortho points out that Yuu has been adapting well to the dorm and the students alike, his anxiety and skepticism lessens, even if for abit.
Frankly he thinks it's kinda stupid how this sort of thing can't be avoided or even handled well enough to make sure no one else except the Headmage should be held responsible but that would be asking for far too much. At any rate, as long as Yuu doesn't draw anymore attention to them, Idia might be more inclined to get to know them more. Maybe.
Pomefiore is just as accommodating as Heartslyabul is, except maybe the students there seem more baffled that Yuu doesn't seem to have any beauty routine despite looking very much like they do. And when Yuu just casually remarks that they've always just used soap for everything, it's as if being magicless is the least of their concerns.
Vil makes it his mission and responsibility to ensure Yuu will be regarded as a NRC student regardless of their oddity. Although he is quite curious as to how the mirror still chose a dorm for them, the fact that it is common knowledge that one's dorm is based on values and qualities of one's soul, just means that they do have what it takes to be a student here and just because they have no magic Vil doesn't believe for one second that its an excuse to not put effort to succeed.
Likewise,Rook is simply smitten by them. He can't help but beam at the chance of being able to witness the growth of such a unique creature and likes to help Yuu as much as he can. Even going as far as to try and find any hints or information regarding their home country which cannot be located anywhere in Twisted Wonderland. He doesn't mind that they have no magic but is the first to ask them how they experience being surrounded by magic feels like.
Epel is curious but also wary of Yuu. He isn't sure how to approach them at first until Yuu is the one who tells them it's fine if he has any questions he wanted to ask. Epel does find it extremely astounding that there could be a world out there that's without magic but as he listens about how life was typically like for them, Epel finds the fact that Yuu made it this far in NRC pretty brave.
Both of them would get along fairly well, especially given the way they're both under Vil's strict regimes.
Now, Diasomnia... Well, the good news is that Malleus does take it upon himself to ensure his peculiar ward is well tended to, if not constantly watched over by a very reluctant and very loud Sebek. He finds the outcome of this unexpected arrival very amusing, more so because Yuu is visibly more irritated than afraid. He's quite dubious with his attempt at comforting them and doesn't get why half the time he says they're upset when he reminds them that they are welcome to accept their fate and remain in Twisted Wonderland if Crowley fails to find a way back for them, but his intent for good will is earnest, most of the time...
The rest of the students are quietly perturbed that the dorm in which often holds the strongest mage has accepted a magicless human. It almost feels like a bad omen. Which is why at first Yuu and Sebek probably don't get along well.
It's not that Sebek hates them. He doesn't,not really in spite of what he says, it's just that he can't really wrap his head around it. How could this even be possible? Was the Dark Mirror tampered with? Was this some sort of plot to dishonor Malleus? It would be easier if that were the case but the fact stands that it is not. He could look at Yuu a thousand times over and he would still see someone as clueless about this matter as he was. It takes a considerable time but eventually, Sebek does soften his edges towards them and a begrudging sort of friendship would start to form.
Which is very unlike how Silver had approached them. As uncertain and wary as he was, Silver was also very empathetic towards Yuu. To him being whisked away from your home and left inside a completely different realm altogether sounds dreadful. And so, he tries his best to make sure their stay with them is at least comfortable. He often offers to walk with them to classes and asks them about their lessons.
Lilia like Malleus finds the matter amusing, but unlike Malleus is quite better at making conversations about the situation. Not exactly because he's gentle and reassuring, but because the topics he goes into with them often offers insight and different views of things Yuu might have problems trying to face on their own. He becomes a sort of guiding hand in a way,and it's not unusual for them to seek him out for any advice. His way is definitely not as humane as Silver, the logic sometimes doesn't even align with Yuu's but the flow of their conversations helps Yuu to regulate their thoughts and emotions.
Overall, their stay would nonetheless be tiresome but also difficult to not appreciate.
'Elloo! :D I saw your requests open, can I request some hcs or short imagines for the first, second, and third years, separate characters?? Or you can just do it as a single scenario with all the characters. They're (Their??) reaction when they've realized the things reader/Yuu had to go through starting from the very beginning ,when they first got transported to the school. Like, the shock of not being able to go home, new environment, the fear-- just the emotional and mental turmoil reader/yuu went through starting from the beginning.
Also, as time goes by it just gets worse and worse along with all the overblots and stuff that got reader/Yuu over the edge. And now the students kind of help?? Or at least try to soothe or comfort the reader I guess??
Does this make any sense?? I dunno :'D
I want me some angst hehe >:]
But if this is kind of too much then it's okii if you wanna skip this one, I love the effort you put into your writings! <3
I kinda just wanted to ramble and yap about this idea I had hehe
Toodles!
thank you!! and i'm sorry it too so long, but i hope you like it <3
They realise what you went through - All NRC + Rollo + Neige + Grim, Staff
Riddle Rosehearts
Riddle doesn’t realize the extent of your struggle until much later, likely after witnessing you reach your breaking point. The way you bottle up your emotions reminds him of himself before his own overblot, and it fills him with guilt. He prides himself on upholding order, but he feels like he failed to notice the chaos within you.
“Why didn’t you say something?” Riddle asks, voice trembling as he stands before you, his normally stern expression soft with regret. He places a hesitant hand on your shoulder, unsure if he has the right to offer comfort after overlooking your pain for so long. “I… I should have noticed. I’m sorry.”
Riddle dives into a methodical plan to ease your burdens. He takes on your academic concerns, ensuring your assignments are manageable and offering personal tutoring. When you’re overwhelmed, he insists you take breaks in Heartslabyul’s peaceful rose garden. While he’s not good at openly expressing affection, he’s steadfast, always by your side with words of encouragement and warm tea.
Trey Clover
Trey picks up on your struggles sooner than most, his observant nature allowing him to notice the small cracks in your demeanor. He doesn’t pry but stays close, offering quiet support until he realizes you’re beyond your limit. His heart aches knowing you’ve been carrying so much without asking for help.
“Hey… you don’t have to pretend everything’s fine,” Trey says softly, kneeling beside you as you sit slumped in an empty classroom. His usual calm demeanor is tinged with concern. “I’ve seen you pushing yourself too hard. You’re not alone in this, you know.”
Trey becomes your sanctuary. He’s the type to cook comforting meals for you, often sneaking you your favorite desserts. He encourages you to talk at your own pace, listening without judgment. Trey also ensures you’re surrounded by people who care, gently urging you to spend time with friends so you never feel isolated again.
Cater Diamond
Cater doesn’t fully realize how bad things are until he catches you breaking down when you think no one is watching. The sight hits him hard—he’s used to wearing masks himself, but seeing you put on a brave face while falling apart reminds him of his own struggles.
“Whoa, hey, hey…” Cater’s voice is unusually soft as he crouches in front of you, the playful lilt replaced with genuine worry. “You’ve been holding all this in, haven’t you? Man, that’s not healthy… You should’ve told me!”
Cater becomes your cheerleader, using his energy to lift your spirits. He takes you on spontaneous outings, distracting you with fun activities and selfies to remind you of life’s lighter side. When you need to vent, he’s surprisingly patient, letting you talk without interruptions. His go-to phrase becomes, “No filter, just let it out. I’m here.”
Ace Trappola
Ace is the last to understand the depth of your pain, brushing off your struggles as stress until you finally snap. Seeing you cry or lash out leaves him dumbstruck—he’s not used to serious emotions and struggles to process it at first. But beneath his awkwardness, he genuinely cares.
“Whoa… I didn’t think it was this bad.” Ace rubs the back of his neck, guilt clear in his expression. “Look, I’m sorry if I made things worse. I didn’t mean to. I just… didn’t know.”
Ace sticks close to you in his own Ace-like way. He cracks jokes to make you laugh and distracts you with playful banter, but he’s also there for the serious moments. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, he drags you outside to play a quick game of basketball or to look at the stars, insisting, “You’ve gotta clear your head, or you’ll go crazy.”
Deuce Spade
Deuce notices your struggles but doesn’t know how to approach you about them. When he finally sees you crumble, it makes him feel like he’s failed as your friend. His protective instincts kick in, and he becomes determined to help you in any way he can.
“Wait—you’ve been feeling like this the whole time?” Deuce’s voice is thick with emotion as he looks at you, his fists clenched at his sides. “Why didn’t you tell me? I could’ve done something! I’m supposed to have your back!”
Deuce takes your well-being seriously, to the point of overcompensating at first. He insists on walking you to class, carrying your things, and defending you against anything he perceives as a threat (real or imagined). Over time, he learns to provide quiet support, sitting with you during tough moments and saying, “We’ll get through this together. I promise.”
Leona Kingscholar
Leona is a perceptive man, even if he acts otherwise, but your struggles slip under his radar for too long. It isn’t until he notices how you’ve stopped rising to his teasing or how the light in your eyes has dimmed that the gravity of your situation hits him. It reminds him of his own sense of isolation, and the guilt gnaws at him.
“Tch. You think you’re the only one who has to deal with this crap?” Leona’s voice is gruff, but there’s no malice in it. He sighs, sitting beside you under the shade of a tree. “You should’ve said something sooner, herbivore. Doesn’t mean you have to carry it all yourself.”
Leona doesn’t coddle you, but his actions speak louder than his words. He offers his presence, silently inviting you to nap in the botanical gardens with him when you need a break. If anyone dares to make your life harder, Leona handles it with a quiet, lethal efficiency. “Rest up. You’re not falling apart on my watch.”
Ruggie Bucchi
Ruggie notices your struggles quickly, but his initial reaction is to brush it off as normal stress—until he sees you genuinely hit your breaking point. It stuns him; he’s used to dealing with hardships himself but hates the idea of you enduring the same without support.
“Oi, don’t do this to yourself,” Ruggie says, his usual playful tone replaced by something softer. “You’re not alone, y’know? I don’t let my people suffer in silence. That’s not how we roll.”
Ruggie uses his resourcefulness to lighten your load however he can. He sneaks you snacks, takes care of tedious tasks for you, and even makes you laugh with his sharp wit. When you’re overwhelmed, he shares stories of his struggles to show you that it’s okay to lean on others. “You’ve got me, okay? I’ll make sure you’re okay, promise.”
Jack Howl
Jack notices the signs of your stress early on, but he hesitates to bring it up, unsure if it’s his place. When he finally realizes how deeply you’re struggling, it stirs a protective instinct in him, and he immediately resolves to do whatever it takes to help you.
“You should’ve told me,” Jack says, his voice low and filled with regret. His ears twitch as he glances away, guilt etched across his face. “I could’ve helped. You don’t have to do this on your own anymore.”
Jack becomes your steadfast support, encouraging you to exercise or go for runs to clear your mind. He’s a calming presence, offering quiet companionship when words aren’t enough. “You’re strong, but you don’t always have to be. Let me help carry the weight, okay?”
Azul Ashengrotto
Azul prides himself on noticing vulnerabilities in others, but your ability to mask your pain throws him off. When the cracks finally show, it shakes him deeply, reminding him of his own insecurities and the times he felt powerless.
“I didn’t realize…” Azul murmurs, his hands wringing nervously as he looks at you with uncharacteristic vulnerability. “I should have seen it. I’m sorry—for everything. Let me help you now.”
Azul’s approach is practical and calculated, but it’s rooted in genuine care. He offers to take over responsibilities or negotiate solutions to ease your stress. When you’re overwhelmed, he’s unexpectedly tender, sitting with you in his VIP room and reminding you, “Even the strongest need someone to lean on. You’ve been there for others; let us be here for you.”
Jade Leech
Jade notices your struggles early but refrains from intervening, assuming you’ll reach out when you’re ready. When he realizes how much you’ve been bottling up, he’s surprised and slightly guilty for not addressing it sooner.
“My, you’ve been carrying quite the burden,” Jade says, his usual calm tinged with regret. “It seems I underestimated just how much you’ve endured. Forgive my oversight.”
Jade is a master of subtlety, offering comfort in ways that feel natural and unintrusive. He invites you on quiet walks through the woods, using the serene atmosphere to help ease your mind. When words are needed, he listens attentively, his soothing voice offering reassurance. “Do not hesitate to lean on me, should you need support. I’ll always be here.”
Floyd Leech
Floyd doesn’t realize how bad things are until you completely snap, and even then, it takes him a moment to process that your outburst isn’t just a temporary mood. Seeing you so broken flips a switch in him, his usual playful demeanor replaced with a rare seriousness.
“Shrimpy, why didn’t you say anything?” Floyd’s voice is uncharacteristically quiet, his sharp eyes scanning your face. He pouts, but there’s no mischief in it—just genuine concern. “You don’t gotta handle everything alone, y’know?”
Floyd sticks to you like glue, his unpredictable nature becoming a strange source of comfort. He drags you out for spontaneous adventures, insisting that fun will help you feel better. When you’re feeling low, he’s surprisingly gentle, wrapping you in a tight hug and muttering, “I gotcha, Shrimpy. Nobody’s messin’ with you while I’m here.”
Kalim Al-Asim
Kalim is always full of energy and positivity, so it takes him a while to notice the depths of your struggles. When he does, he’s devastated, blaming himself for not seeing it sooner.
“Wait—you’ve been feeling like this?” Kalim’s eyes widen, tears threatening to spill. “Why didn’t you tell me? I could’ve done something to help!”
Kalim does everything in his power to brighten your days. He showers you with gifts, invites you to lively parties, and insists on spending time together to lift your spirits. When he realizes that quiet support means more than grand gestures, he sits with you, holding your hand. “You’re not alone, okay? I’ll always be here for you.”
Jamil Viper
Jamil is highly observant, and while he notices your struggles early on, he assumes you’re managing on your own until he sees how much you’ve truly endured. It reminds him of his own bottled-up frustrations, and guilt eats at him for not acting sooner.
“...I should’ve known,” Jamil mutters, his voice low and filled with regret. He rubs the back of his neck, avoiding your gaze. “I’ve been through this too. I know what it’s like to feel trapped. I’m sorry I didn’t step in sooner.”
Jamil’s care comes in quiet, thoughtful gestures. He prepares your favorite meals, arranges peaceful moments away from the chaos of NRC, and ensures you never feel overwhelmed alone. “You’ve done more than enough. Let me take care of things for a while.”
Vil Schoenheit
Vil’s sharp eyes catch the signs of your struggles quickly, but he initially brushes them off, believing you’ll overcome them like any challenge. When the full weight of your burden becomes clear, he’s horrified and deeply regretful for not intervening sooner.
“I failed to notice something so glaringly obvious,” Vil says, his tone laced with self-reproach. “That’s not acceptable—not as your friend and certainly not as someone who should’ve supported you better.”
Vil approaches your comfort with precision and care, determined to help you regain your footing. He insists on self-care days, encourages you to vent your frustrations, and teaches you grounding techniques. “You’re stronger than you think, but even the strongest need rest. I’m here for you, no matter what.”
Rook Hunt
Rook is attuned to the emotions of those around him, and your pain does not escape his notice. He marvels at your resilience but is deeply saddened that you’ve been enduring so much without seeking help.
“Mon cher trésor, your suffering… it pains me to think I let you endure this alone,” Rook says softly, his gaze earnest. “You’ve carried a weight that no one should bear by themselves. Allow me to lighten your burden.”
Rook’s support is poetic and heartfelt, crafting moments of beauty to remind you of the world’s wonders. Whether it’s a bouquet of flowers, a handwritten letter, or a quiet moment under the stars, he ensures you feel cherished. “You are not alone in this grand stage of life, and I shall remain by your side as your steadfast ally.”
Epel Felmier
Epel is initially too caught up in his own frustrations to notice the extent of your struggles, but once he sees you falter, his protective side kicks in. It reminds him of his own insecurities about being underestimated.
“Aw, geez, why didn’t ya say somethin’?” Epel frowns, his voice uncharacteristically soft. “You’re always lookin’ out for us, but ya never let anyone do the same for you. That ain’t fair.”
Epel takes a straightforward approach, offering to help however he can. He sticks close, ensuring you never feel alone, and encourages you to vent when needed. “You’re tough as nails, but that doesn’t mean you gotta do it all by yourself. We’re a team, remember?”
Idia Shroud
Idia is slow to notice your struggles, being so wrapped up in his own world, but when he realizes the extent of your pain, it hits him hard. He sees a reflection of his own struggles in you and feels immense guilt for not seeing it sooner.
“This is my fault, isn’t it?” Idia mumbles, his voice trembling. His hair dims as he nervously fiddles with his tablet. “I should’ve… I don’t know, paid more attention. I’m sorry. I—I wanna help, if you’ll let me.”
Idia comforts you in his own awkward way, creating a safe space where you can relax without judgment. He shares his favorite games, shows, and quiet moments, offering you an escape from the chaos. “You don’t have to be ‘okay’ all the time. Just… take it easy for now. I’m here if you need me.”
Ortho Shroud
Ortho is one of the first to notice your struggles, his advanced sensors picking up on changes in your emotional and physical state. His concern is immediate, and he wastes no time in seeking to help.
“You’ve been so sad for so long, haven’t you?” Ortho’s voice is soft, as he hovers close. “I wish I could’ve made you smile sooner. I’m sorry you’ve been hurting.”
Ortho’s comfort is warm and reassuring, filled with optimism and boundless energy. He’s always ready with encouraging words, small gifts, or simply a cheerful presence to brighten your day. “You’re not alone! I’ll do everything I can to help you feel better, okay?”
Malleus Draconia
Malleus has always sensed something amiss about your emotions, his acute sensitivity to auras making it impossible for him to overlook your struggles. However, he hesitates to approach, fearing he might overstep or worsen your burdens. When he finally understands the depth of your pain, he is both heartbroken and determined to help.
“You’ve been enduring this in silence?” His deep voice is laced with regret as his green eyes soften. “If only I had been more attentive, perhaps I could have eased your pain.”
Malleus ensures you feel his unwavering support. He invites you for peaceful strolls under the stars, shares his favorite quiet spots, and reassures you with his calming presence. “You are precious to me. Whatever darkness surrounds you, I will remain by your side until the light returns.”
Lilia Vanrouge
Lilia has lived long enough to recognize the signs of emotional turmoil, and it pains him to see you suffer. While he often masks his seriousness with cheerfulness, he doesn’t hesitate to step in when he sees you reaching your breaking point.
“Oh, little one, you’ve carried such a heavy heart all this time.” His playful demeanor fades into solemnity as he places a gentle hand on your shoulder. “You shouldn’t have to face this alone.”
Lilia comforts you with wisdom and warmth, drawing on centuries of experience. He shares stories to make you laugh, cooks (albeit questionable) meals to distract you, and offers sage advice when you’re ready to talk. “Life’s trials are harsh, but you’re stronger than you know. And if you need someone to lean on, I’ll always be here.”
Silver
Silver is observant despite his drowsy nature, and he’s one of the first to notice your growing exhaustion. When he realizes the extent of your suffering, he feels deeply remorseful for not acting sooner.
“I should have seen this sooner,” Silver says quietly, his tone filled with regret. “You’ve always looked out for others… I should’ve done the same for you.”
Silver stays by your side, offering silent, steady support. He doesn’t push you to talk but is always ready to listen when you’re ready. His calm demeanor helps ground you, and he often sits quietly with you under a tree or by a calm lake. “You’re not alone. I’ll protect you—not just from danger, but from this weight you’re carrying.”
Sebek Zigvolt
Sebek’s initial reaction is frustration—not at you, but at himself for failing to notice your struggles while being so focused on Malleus. His loyalty shifts into overdrive as he becomes determined to help you.
“You’ve been struggling this much, and I didn’t see it?!” Sebek’s voice is loud, but there’s a rare softness in his expression. “That is… unacceptable. I failed you as a companion.”
Sebek’s attempts to comfort you are a bit clumsy but heartfelt. He insists on helping you with daily tasks and loudly declares his commitment to your well-being. Despite his rough edges, his sincerity shines through. “Know this: I will not allow you to suffer alone any longer. You have my loyalty, now and always.”
Rollo Flamme
Rollo’s disdain for magic only deepens when he realizes how much you’ve suffered due to the chaos and overblots of NRC. His concern for you is genuine, though it’s laced with anger toward the school and its culture.
“This place… It’s a cesspool of disorder and harm,” Rollo says, his voice cold yet trembling with suppressed emotion. “You’ve been caught in its web for too long. You deserve better.”
Rollo’s comfort is practical and protective. He tries to create a sense of normalcy for you, offering quiet, structured moments away from the chaos. His words are sharp but sincere. “You deserve a life of peace and stability. If you can’t find it here, I’ll do what I can to give it to you.”
Neige LeBlanche
Neige is quick to notice your distress, his naturally empathetic nature making him keenly aware of your struggles. He’s horrified to think of you enduring so much alone and wants to do everything in his power to make you smile again.
“Oh no… You’ve been feeling like this?” Neige’s voice is soft, his eyes brimming with concern. “You don’t deserve to carry such sadness by yourself.”
Neige’s comfort is gentle and uplifting. He sings for you, offers kind words, and encourages you to express your feelings without fear. “You’re so strong, but you don’t have to be strong all the time. It’s okay to let someone take care of you for a change.”
Grim
Grim initially doesn’t notice your struggles, his focus often on his own ambitions and mischief. When he finally realizes how much you’ve been enduring, he feels both guilt and panic.
“Hey… You’re not okay, are ya?” Grim’s ears droop as he looks up at you, his voice unusually soft. “Why didn’t ya tell me? I—I’m supposed to be your partner!”
Grim becomes fiercely protective, sticking by your side at all times. He tries to cheer you up with his antics and insists on being your “emotional support boss.” “You’re stuck with me, got it? So don’t go actin’ like you’re all alone. I won’t let ya.”
Staff:
Crowley
Crowley prides himself on being the "benevolent" headmaster, but when he realizes how much you’ve suffered under his care—or lack thereof—he’s struck by a rare pang of guilt. While he’s not one to admit fault outright, he becomes visibly uncomfortable with the weight of his oversight.
“My dear, you’ve been carrying all of this on your shoulders?” His dramatic flair falters for a moment, his usual exuberance replaced with awkward sincerity. “I… suppose I may have been a tad neglectful in ensuring your well-being.”
Crowley tries to make amends in his own roundabout way, offering resources, extended accommodations, or attempting to be more attentive (though his efforts are often misguided). “Rest assured, I shall personally oversee that you are well cared for! You have my full support—within reason, of course.”
Divus Crewel
Crewel is not one to tolerate weakness, but when he sees the toll everything has taken on you, his stern demeanor softens. He’s the type to take immediate, no-nonsense action to ensure you’re taken care of.
“You’ve let it get this bad without saying a word?” His sharp tone is laced with frustration, but his eyes betray his concern. “Pup, I thought I taught you better than to carry burdens alone.”
Crewel’s approach is practical yet caring. He insists you rest, brings you comforting meals, and ensures you know you’re valued. “You’re stronger than you think, but even the strongest need support. Lean on me, pup. I’ll make sure you’re back to full strength in no time.”
Mozus Trein
Trein is a man of wisdom and observation. He likely noticed your struggles but respected your space, waiting for the right time to step in. When he realizes the full extent of your distress, he feels deep regret for not intervening sooner.
“I should have addressed this earlier.” His voice is steady but tinged with remorse. “You’ve faced more challenges than any student should. It’s a testament to your resilience, but it shouldn’t have come to this.”
Trein offers gentle guidance, providing stability and reassurance. He shares stories of his own trials and reminds you that even the hardest times pass. “Life is fraught with difficulties, but you’ve shown remarkable courage. Allow others to help shoulder the burden—you need not face this alone.”
Ashton Vargas
Vargas isn’t the most emotionally perceptive, but when it finally clicks that you’re struggling, he’s hit with a wave of guilt. He immediately shifts gears, trading his usual boisterousness for genuine concern.
“Whoa… I had no idea it was this bad,” Vargas says, his brows furrowed in concern. “Why didn’t you say something sooner? I would’ve helped in a heartbeat!”
Vargas focuses on physical activity as a form of comfort, encouraging you to blow off steam in healthy ways. He also offers constant positive reinforcement. “You’re tough, kid, but even the toughest need a break. Let’s get some fresh air and clear your head—you’ve got this!”
Sam
Sam has always been attuned to the emotions of others, so when he realizes the depth of your struggles, he feels a pang of regret for not stepping in sooner. His usual upbeat demeanor becomes tinged with quiet sympathy.
“Well, well… Looks like someone’s been carrying more than their fair share.” His voice is soft, his usual grin replaced with a concerned expression. “You’ve been through a lot, haven’t you?”
Sam provides comfort through small but meaningful gestures, like preparing your favorite treats or giving you space to talk. He reassures you with his calming presence and wise words. “Don’t keep it bottled up, friend. Whatever you’re feeling, it’s valid. I’m here to help you through it.”
• Yuu who’s very confused on the naming conventions because Jack, Kalim, Jamil, Jade, Floyd, Trey, and even Lillia and Leona are normal for the most part but Ace and Deuce??? One and two??? Then Azul who they can’t help but think …blue? His name is just..blue?? Yuu who snorts a little when they learn the evil queens house leader was named Vil which is just a bit on the nose. Who has a similar reaction when learning Rooks last name is Hunt which is just so obvious it’s almost embarrassing. Don’t even get them started on Riddle…they sometimes will laugh and say “Riddle me this Batman…” and Riddle doesn’t understand what they are saying but does NOT appreciate their tone.
• A Yuu who makes money tutoring because they already finished high school before being whisked away to Twst.
• A Yuu who is complaining about how much worse their world is compared to twst and says “But that’s what you get when you elect an actual Nazi rapist as the president!” Who then has to explain the socio-political and economic state of their world and country going from 9/11, WWII, The Civil War, and even the titanic somehow. Ace and Deuce who had been over watching a movie and stopped to question what the hell they were going on about are now deeply concerned with the nightmare Yuu seems to be from. Who can’t keep their mouths shut and tell Cater and Trey about the craziness Yuu just told them. Word spreads quickly and Yuu is now getting water too many questions about their world that they are NOT qualified to answer.
• (Projecting a little but idgaf) Yuu who spends a lot of time around Octaniville because they are just so amazed that mermaids are finally real like they always wanted them to be. Who flusters others easily by raving about how gorgeous and amazing they are. Who is relentless with their questioning: “How did you adjust to walking?” “Do you still breathe through your mouth in the water or is it gills only mouth closed?” “How long is your tail?” “Can I see, pretty pretty please?”

Hey!! First off, For the non human sense, i do love when non-human have enhanced instincts. Twst nom-human races also have specific abilities, the fish and beastmen having crazy smell (during the bean fest, Floyd could smell the olympus when he was in the woods behind the school, plus Leona smelling magic), while fae have obviously better senses and great hearing and enhanced strength
I also agree with you on the “the human body didn’t have to adapt to magic since magic was always in the twst world so the human body actually evolved around magic itself”. A while ago I came across “period drama” by twstfanblog and I think the concept might interest you? I couldn’t get into the fic (main pairing not my cup of tea) but tbh the whole thing makes a lot of sense
(Tw periods)
Basically, “period drama” is female yuu getting her periods However everyone thinks somethimg bad happened because period don’t works the same way in twst. Instead of the inner lining shedding itself and the egg out, the egg renew itself via magic. The reasoning is that since magicless still have magic and live in a world of magic, there wouldnt be a need for a rougher/hands-on method for the body to renew the egg. So even girls characters of twst would be horrified at yuu’s periods.
Sorry for the rant, have a nice day:)
you're absolutely right, i love this concept mostly because I can expand on it. I love making bullshit sound scientific❤
um. so. I might be insane but take a table of contents
Periods(kind of)
Back to periods(only what's similar to our own)
How the boys react
Yes. I got into literally everything. Have fun with my world building
➤Periods (kind of)
Okay, let's think this out. Technically, the uterus sheds its lining to clean itself. that's the main reason. Now if I were the one to add magic to the concept of a menstrual cycle, it'd be this:
once a month, biological woman experience a week of weakness where their body absorbs more magic than their body normal would in order to provide the energy/magic necessary in order for the lining of the uterus to regenerate itself.
I frame it like this because it wouldn't make sense for every single egg in the ovaries(which 'die' off as a woman's life goes on) to refresh itself with magic if not every single one of them is going to be fertilized. The body is freaky and it knows what it does and what it doesn't need.
So. Taking the 'egg renews itself with magic concept', i'd frame it more as pregnancy than i would a menstrual cycle. Then, there would be an egg dug into the walls of of the uterus.
➤ Pregnancy (and what happens when you're magic and with child)
Pregnancy mixed with magic would essentially be a stretched out period. The body continues to drawn in magic, but at the same pace as the baby's cells develop in the pouch. I'd say this is because in the earlier stages of life, the baby's cells rely on both mother's nutrients, and her magic. But magic has a signature, so as the baby grows in the stomach, the mother's body enters a process where it essentially weens the baby off the mother's magic, and kick starts a process where the mother starts to absorb more from their surroundings.
(during this period, doctors enforce nature walks because that's where 'fresh' magic is, and gives the baby 'cleaner, fresh' magic. Basically like pollution. Magic has a signature, and while the baby would have an entirely different one to that of the countless that were absorbed in, say, like a city, there would still be traces, y'know?)
anyway. that's why its like a period, the body absorbs magic still. When the baby pops out, they're still weak. If you're not careful about where you're keeping your baby, the sheer amount of magic that is everywhere could be overwhelming to them. That's where the milk from the mother comes in
The mother's body kickstarts yet another process. Two actually:
we are still absorbing magic, folks. (i'm sorry, but this is the only way it makes sense)
the body starts lacing the milk from the mother with her magic, something familiar to the baby. It'll be used in the baby's body almost as a sheild, letting it take the brunt of this new world while the baby's magic grows strong enough to form its own defenses.
kinda like an immune system
➤Back to periods(only what's similar to our own)
Unfortunately, they do not suffer as earth women do.
No cramps. No nothing. Okay, that was a lie.
They do feel an uncomfortable tightness in what they perceive as their...core? Idk, they can feel the magic entering their body and it's not painful. but it is uncomfortable.
They're advised not to use magic during this period because their body needs the extra magic and whatever else it can get. Also during this period, I'd imagine it's easier to create blot. Just because it's my world building❤
The magic system(i'm labeling it as it were a system of the body even though no organ contribute to it) isn't...physical, in a sense. But they can certainly feel it. The discomfort is there, but not felt by the flesh.
So. I'd imagine some brain chemicals are disrubted because it registers something is different, but because it can't pin point what, it's just a bad week of feelings.
➤ How the boys react to...that.
We've established there's no bleeding in a twst woman's menstrual cycle(it's not even called that but i'm not qualified to be naming things) so.
no pads. no tampons. not even a menstrual cup. [<- i am never using that shit by the way. pad girlie through and through]
Poor Yuu, first of all. Fuck the boys, poor yuu.
Let's say for the first few months in twst, yuu doesn't get her(i'm gonna inter-change she and they btw) period because the body...gets fucky under stress. And Yuu was under a lot of it until like...I'd say....let's go with post book 7. just for my sanity.
After Malleus's overblot, they get to..sit down. And just breath. Nothing happens for a month, no signs of overblot, or anything that couldn't be handled quickly by the housewardens.
Everything is fine. It's great, even. Yuu's connected with people, feels safe despite being in an all boys school because even though this is a school full of prideful boys, they're not assholes to that regard. They feel...respected, almost. Safe. Calm.
And then one morning.
Blood coats the insides of their thighs and Grim demands answers between yowls and tears.
And she just...plops back down on the bed, letting out a sigh and then a drawn out: "Fuck."
Calm. Worryingly so in the dire beast's eyes. He can't see the blood—her blanket covers their lower half still—but he can smell it. There's a lot. And she's sitting in it as she takes deep breaths.
They look at him when he sniffles—even though he tries to hide it—and softens, stroking his fur and murmuring that they were fine.
He lingers outside the bathroom door as they clean up. The scent of iron lingers as she throws her soiled clothes in the 'to wash' bin, which the ghosts promptly scoop up the same way they did the bloody bed sheets.
The blood still lingers on them as Grim follows them back to her room, where she hums a tune as they place another set of sheets on the bed.
"At least I didn't bleed through it. That would've been annoying," They mumble, petting his head as they stand and scoop him up with them. "Actually...do me a favor?"
That's how Grim and Yuu end up skipping the day and spend it on the lounge couch with Grim curled up over their gut. They tap him when they need him to warm her with his fire, and he does so, ignoring how something squleches from inside their body and focuses on how their sigh in relief.
It is at that moment where Sebek and Jack come barreling through Ramshackle’s front door.
"I SMELL BLOOD," Sebek yells from the entry, turning to a bolt of lightning—he's gained excellent control over his unique magic—to quickly appear in front of the couch. "YOU ARE BLEEDING."
And all Yuu says—even as the rest of their friend group rushes through the door, panting like they had ran—is:
"Ew, you can smell that?"
the first years were the first to be subjected to 'the talk'. Yuu had Grim in their lap the whole time, a plate covered in food which they ate from as they casually explained that their uterus was shedding.
"...can you explain that...one more time?" Deuce fails at hiding his horror, and in an attempt to comfort him, Yuu slides her plate in his direction.
"I'll dumb it down," They lean back in her chair, arms crossed and legs propped up on the chair. They're comfortable. "Uterus lining gone bad, body ejected it through squeezing out the shed lining, it comes out with blood through my 'down there'."
Horror. Yuu’s eyes keep flicking between the boys—Epel is white pale, Ace can't decide if he wants to be that or green, Jack's ears are plastered against his head and his tail is pin straight, Deuce is staring off into the distance while Yuu encourages a chip into his hand, Sebek’s ears, while not dramatically pointedly, still tilt downwards and scales have flickered on his cheeks whenever he was thrown off. And Ortho...
Yuu tilts her head.
"Ortho? You with us?'"
The mechanical boy blinks—his pupils returning to normal rather than the closed shutters of a camera—and smiles at them.
"Yes! That was great information to add to my data banks. I'm in the middle of coding you a tracker app—similar to the ones our women use for their cycles—but for your bodily functions rather than magical intake."
It finally clicks in their brain. And the sheer offense settles in.
"They don't have fucking periods?!"
_
"How do we stop the bleeding?" Riddle stresses his words, still pacing Ramshackle’s lounge.
"You can't," Yuu grumbles, shoving a pastry into their mouth. Trey had found with Riddle when Ace had called him, and they think they heard something clattering to the ground the same time Riddle exploded with question. It had gotten her treats and a quick check in though, so she's not too mad. "Just keep something there to catch the blood."
"Like what? What did your world have?" Vil stops her from grabbing another sweet, giving them a sharp look until they did what they agreed to do and interchange between indulgent food and the fruit he cut up.
"Pads. Tampons. Menstrual cups."
They both pause, watching her until she quickly explains:
"Uh. Pads stick to underwear and soak the blood. Tampons, you uh...you shove it up there for a few hours, then take it out to replace it. Menstrual cups are kind of the came thing, but they look like wider condoms and more like a cup."
"...oh my seven," Riddle whispers in horror, and he clutches his hair while staring at the floor. Vil, on the other hand, clears his throat and—uncomfortably—asks:
"What have you been using?"
"Uh. Double sided tape. Guaze from the first aid kit. Then more tape. The really absorbent bandage roll things from the first aid kit. More tape. More gauze. And I wrap that in toilet paper."
She smiles after they finish, shoving another pastry in their mouth while the two in front of them slowly crumble.
—
They won't let you leave Ramshackle.
"'S dangerous to bleed in the sea," Floyd drawls. His pen is resting on your gut while Grim takes a break and retrieves work for the both of you. The heat from it is...sufficient. "You get hunted down quick."
"...I'm in my house, Floyd." She deadpans. They look up at Jade as he brings them tea, taking the cup from him.
"It's still not right to bleed, Prefect." Jade takes a seat in the chair beside the sofa, hands laid in his lap and perfectly straight posture. He's the most calm out of everyone that knows. "I would hate for you to bleed out the moment we took our eyes off you."
"It's only a couple table spoons, I think."
"That is still WAY TOO MUCH—" Azul calls out from the other room, on the phone with his mother, because she might not bleed, but something she does might help.
—
"I'm gonna scream." They deadpan.
"Don't," Ruggie shoots back, finishing lighting the final candle he had brought. It's strong, and he scrunches his nose when its scent floats into the air, but he doesn't complain.
"'S better than blood." Leona drawls from the hallway. He won't enter the lounge, even with so many candles lit.
"You can literally still smell it."
"I'd rather not be reminded of the fact you're bleeding out on your couch everytime I breath in."
"...I think the candles make it worse." Ruggie mutters, and Yuu screams into their pillow.
_
"Please don't die!!!"
"Kalim, I'm not dying."
"They're not dying."
Kalim has herexplain the intricacies of a period to him just so he can know that they are, in fact, not dying. He listens intently, and doesn't even seem disgusted by the parts other men would be.
"Wow...you've been dealing with that since you were eleven!" Oddly enough, his eyes shine. "You're so strong!"
"Just because I'm not dying doesn't mean it doesn't feel like I'm not." She deadpans, wincing at the pain of another cramp to their uterus.
Jamil hands them a tray, pills and a glass of water pushed to one end and a bowl of food to the other.
He picks up the pills and hands them to her, "Pain pills, drink them and finish the glass of water before you start eating."
They pass out after they leave from both a food coma, and what she think were melatonin pills.
Great nap though
—
yuu wakes up in the middle of the night, Grim resting on their gut, and a thin notepad filled with 6 poems depicting and praising their strength for each year since they began her period.
Along with it, what Rook calls a creation of Vil's genuis.
A pad. Or. A pretty imitation of one. It works well for a product they told Vil about only a day or two ago.
—
"You should be resting."
they jump Malleus' voice, spinning around to face. They point their spatula at him, a glare in their eyes.
"Do not do that. And I'm better. The bleeding went down. The week is nearly done, and my period along with it."
Silently, he takes the spatula from her hand. Reaches over to shut off the stove, then rests his hands on their shoulders, and leads them until they're in front of their bed.
"...seriously? I'm not dying, Mal."
"Rest." He stresses.
So she sighs, gets into bed, hugs Grim to their chest, and lets Malleus linger and observe however long he wants until Lilia comes and forcefully takes him. Not without leaving her a pouch of herbs and instructions on how to make the tea, of course.
Silver is there when they wake up, and they spend the morning with him. For some reason. It was nice to have someone be there gently, instead of hovering. Worried, yes, but there only to help when they falter.
That night, she sat Grim in her lap as they quietly watched Idia fill out an entire scientific document about menstrual cycle, answering his questions when he breaks his silence with a soft voice. She falls asleep on the phone.
Hello Capri :) My two current favorite games are twst and legend of zelda. I have an oc who's zeldas older sister. Her name is mina/maena but can be refured as yuu or yuuna. In totk she absorbed (swallowed) the secret stone instead of Zelda and became a dragon in her sisters place to fix the master sword.
After she fixed the sword she's turned into some hylian dragon hybrid and transported to twisted wonderland. I was wondering how Malleus, Rook Hunt, and anyone else of your choosing would react to such a person. If you need more info about her as a person and not just physical traits (weird/purply blue eyes, horns, claws and a tail), she feels less than Zelda because her sister has been blessed by Hylia. Sorry for rambiling lolol
Hiii!! Sorry this took a while! I'm not familiar at all with the legend of Zelda so I went looking up a bit of the lore lmao! I went with just Mally and Rook since you mentioned them specifically! I'm sorry if there's any inaccuracies about her state of being though!
Malleus - Intrigued because her current being is familiar. Hylian Dragon hybrids would feel as ancient as his very own blood but the concept of a transformative being is sort of different from merely being an old race of creatures like the Faefolk are.
It's not her looks which would compel Malleus to approach her but rather the power which comes from her altered and ascended state. Malleus would most likely consider her to be a variation of a kindred spirit, especially because of the Draconic resemblance they both share.
It's not fondness first which has him orbiting her but curiosity. Malleus is overwhelmingly powerful in both his magical capabilities and his standing as a Prince so naturally meeting one like Maena would incite an instinctive need to display if not exude his prowess and he most likely would expect her to do the same, although not really as a challenge.
He'd ask her about her being and where she came from to try and see if there's anything else they have in common with one another.
Her lack of feeling might make Malleus a tad more haughty and arrogant seeing as he'll take it as a sign she holds herself in high esteem much like he does for himself. If she is able to tell him what happened to her; (recounting her decision to swallow the secret stone and fix the master stone which led to her current being) then, Malleus's stature might thaw a little. Faefolk are cunning and slippery, yes, but they are full of emotions which is why they're often wrapped up in so many affairs and so, Malleus would see her actions as something noble and selfless and because of that he'd be less imposing.
Rook - Rook himself in an enigma even if he doesn't realize it himself and while most people would think he'd be intrigued because she's semi draconian, it's most likely he's drawn to how humane her stillness can be and how she looks would come afterwards.
With that being said, her features alone would incite a sense of open curiosity to Rook who has probably seen a lot of creatures and it's also possible that seeing such a being as an ancient hylian Dragon hybrid would elicit many exclaims of astonishments from him. He'd ask her many questions, both general and personal, and he'd study every reaction and movement she makes.
Her lack of feeling would give him pause, but Rook being Rook would indefinitely if not eventually sense the sacrifice she's made which turned her into such a being. After learning (if he does) about what had happened to her, Rook is sure to gush over her with both endearment and sympathy.
Both would eventually gravitate towards being a companion she can simply spend time with. They'll respect her space almost on an instinctual level yet at the same time, they might linger around her a lot more too.
What if Yuu had knowledge about Disney before being transported into Twisted Wonderland, just imagine the potential humor of “I have this knowledge that I can share with anyone of this world… but I really really! want to make a movie reference and see what transpires.”
Just the constant state of wanting to drop a massive bomb, or looking like they are in a joke that you are on the outs of.
if I had a nickel every time an anon sends me an ask about plot aware Yuu who is a ragebaiter, I'd have three nickels which isn't a lot but it happened thrice now and I'm wondering if it's from the same person atp😭 I love it though lmao it's so amusing PLEAAAASE (I did it a little differently though 😭 hope its okay!) (also sorry, it took like wayy longer...)
You weren't supposed to be so happy about being thrown into another world so far and foreign from your own but in your defense, it wasn't all that unknown to you was it?
It didn't click the first few seconds you were here but the moment you heard that iconic line, "Off with your head!" resounded off the walls of the ceremonial room where fire had almost engulfed you and out came this red headed fury in the clothes designed in such obvious tribute to the Red Queen of hearts from Alice in Wonderland, you knew you were at least going to make the most out of this bizarre situation.
Which basically means being insufferable.
To Riddle you were the only thing which would make Ace look like a saint. And that says a lot already. He can't stand how you always seem to time your odd little reactions whenever he's having a meltdown.
He would be screaming threats of cutting people's heads off and you'd be beside him going repeating his words as if you were the King of Hearts himself! How preposterous!
Leona has built up a tolerance to your shenanigans but each time you say "be prepared" whenever he enters a room he gets tempted to chunk you out the window. Or when you start humming that annoyingly catchy song about coconuts. It's just stuck in his head and sometimes he finds himself humming it absently. ("Yer dumb song's stuck in my head, herbivore.")
Azul is horrified. When you began blurting out the details of his unique magic as if it was written somewhere and you had managed to memorize it, he was looking at you as if you'd just grown triple heads.
He stuttered, stammered, and most of all he was panicking. How?? Did Jade or Floyd rat him out? No, impossible! Did you somehow overheard him? But how?? Azul doesn't go around talking about his unique magic at all! What sort of idiot even does that? You don't kiss and tell unless telling benefits you! He crashed out so hard, his overblot probably triggered earlier than it originally would which was terrible and so that's how Azul became your cautionary tale.
Kalim thinks you're so funny! Jamil hates you. (Not literally...maybe) The fact you knew about his unique magic even before the reveal shocked him. How did it take you faster than Azul himself?? He has a theory that you might have some hidden magic in you but then again, it seems unlikely.
He would say you were as smart as him but that sorta hurt his pride even more so he pushed that thought aside and just decided it was pure luck on your part...
Vil is...well he isn't amused. But at the same time you did intrigue him. It's honestly a bit harder to get Vil but you did get him to look at you severely when you suddenly went, "man, Neige does look way too nice, I hope no one tries to poison him. You know like with an assuming drink or snack"
Idia is convinced you're some sort of time traveller. He's not wrong but he's also not quite right so instead of agreeing with it to soothe his anxiety, you of course chose to play into his theory just to mess with him even more. You go and tell him about the story of Hercules you loosely remember watching as a kid (excluding that part anyways for narrative reasons ofc) and watch in amusement how he just loses his braincells and that pretty hair of his just fizzles out.
Next time you see him, he's probably told Ortho to make a quick scan of you to see if you're some kind of God reincarnated into a normie's body.
Malleus is amused actually. It's like he's found a court jester (😂) You go on and spouting fae lore and he's sitting there with his brows raised;
"Oh,so your people are aware of our ways?"
"We've studied you all pretty well, yeah. There's like tons of books dedicated to you guys."
"My,my..and all these are to educate?"
"mmm well, there's some romances too and horror."
"Horror is a given, but romance you say? Our intimate affairs are often our most sacred, I doubt what your people have could even scratch the surface—"
"oh,no, like a fae and human romance"
And THAT'S what gets him going blank. Next, he's going back to his dorm and asking Lilia if it's possible to get books from other worlds and the old man is just grinning cause he heard the whole conversation from the ceiling earlier.
Hello Manager seru! Can I get seared scallop and eel stew with sunken treasure chestnut pie? The overblot gang where instead of them their s/o overblots? Maybe it's the fact that they miss their world/family or the stress from the work Crowley has been giving them?
Ah, esteemed patron! Welcome to the Lounge.
You have placed an order for a Seared Scallop & Eel Stew (Angst) with a Sunken Treasure Chest(nut) Pie (Comfort) finish.
And the scenario... my, my. A role reversal of the most heartbreaking kind. The Overblot Gang—who were all saved by the Reader's kindness and endurance—watching that very same Reader succumb to the darkness? Watching the accumulation of homesickness, the crushing weight of Headmaster Crowley's unreasonable demands, and the trauma of "fixing" everyone else finally break the Magic-less Prefect?
This is a dish of profound Guilt and Desperate Devotion. They know exactly what that darkness feels like. Seeing you drown in it is their worst nightmare.
The kitchen has prepared this with a heavy hand on the angst, followed by the sweetest, most protective comfort.
Serving: When the Healer Breaks
You don't have a magic stone to blot, but the negativity has to go somewhere. It accumulates in your soul. One day, after another impossible demand from Crowley or a wave of crushing homesickness, you snap. You don't turn into a giant monster; you simply overflow. Black, ink-like tears stream down your face. You are screaming, or perhaps silent, surrounded by a suffocating aura of despair.
👑 Riddle Rosehearts
The Stew (The Breakdown): He finds you in the Rose Maze, destroying the white roses. You aren't painting them; you are tearing them apart, sobbing about how tired you are, how nothing is ever enough. Riddle freezes. He sees himself in you. The pressure. The perfectionism. The breaking point. "Prefect? Stop! That is... that is against the rules! You are hurting yourself!" He tries to order you to stop, but his voice cracks. He realizes that he contributed to this. He relied on you to be the stable one.
The Pie (The Comfort): He rushes forward, ignoring the thorns, and grabs your wrists. He doesn't use magic. He uses his own strength. "Enough!" he cries, pulling you into a desperate hug. "I... I rescind the order! I rescind all orders! You do not have to be perfect! You do not have to be strong!" He buries his face in your shoulder, his own tears mixing with your inky ones. "I am the Housewarden. It is my duty to maintain order, not yours. You have carried the weight of my crown for too long. Please... let me carry you now. I command you... to rest."
🦁 Leona Kingscholar
The Stew (The Breakdown): You collapse in his room. You're hyperventilating, clawing at your chest, rambling about how you want to go home, how you hate this world, how you're just a tool for everyone else. The shadows in the room seem to lengthen, responding to your distress. Leona wakes up instantly. The smell of acrid distress hits him. He sees the "herbivore"—the one creature who seemed to have endless patience—snarling with grief. "Oi..." He stands up, his tail lashing. "What did that crow do to you?"
The Pie (The Comfort): He crosses the room in a blur. He doesn't try to talk you down with logic. He effectively tackles you onto the bed, pinning you under his weight—not to hurt, but to ground you. "Shut up," he growls, but his hand is cradling the back of your head, pressing your face into his chest. "Stop thinking. Stop working. You're done." He radiates heat and lazy, heavy calm. He forces his own steady heartbeat against yours. "You want to go home? Fine. I'll find a way. But right now, you're in my den. And in my den, nobody works. Nobody suffers. You just sleep. I'll eat anyone who tries to wake you up. Even Crowley."
🐙 Azul Ashengrotto
The Stew (The Breakdown): You are in the VIP room, trying to negotiate a deal for Crowley, and you just... shatter. You start laughing, a hollow, broken sound. You talk about "debts" and "unfair contracts" and how you've given everything and received nothing. Ink starts to drip from your eyes, staining the contracts on the table. Azul drops his pen. He knows this flavor. It is the taste of inferiority and exploitation. He realizes, with horror, that the Reader has been operating on a deficit for months.
The Pie (The Comfort): He vaults over the desk. He grabs your shoulders, his eyes wide and frantic behind his glasses. "The contract is void!" he shouts, shaking you slightly. "I am declaring it null and void! You owe nothing! Do you hear me? Nothing!" He pulls you into his arms, casting a barrier spell around the room to shut out the world. "I am the most greedy mage in this school," he whispers fiercely into your ear. "And I am hoarding you. You are no longer available for the Headmaster's use. I will take on your debts. I will manage the burden. Just... please... stop crying. It is... an inefficient use of your precious energy."
🐍 Jamil Viper
The Stew (The Breakdown): You are helping him cook, and you drop a plate. Instead of picking it up, you stare at the shards and whisper, "I'm trapped." The air grows heavy. You start to spiral about being a servant to everyone's whims, never having a choice, never being free. Jamil goes still. It is like looking in a mirror. He sees the chains of duty choking you, the same chains he tried to burn down the school to escape.
The Pie (The Comfort): He turns off the stove. He walks over to you, kicks the shards aside, and grabs your face in his hands. "Look at me," he commands, his voice utilizing his "Snake Charmer" cadence—not to hypnotize, but to focus you. "You are not a servant. You are not a tool. You are [....]." He pulls you against him, wrapping his arms tight around your waist, resting his chin on your head. "I know the feeling. I know the suffocation. But you are not alone in it anymore. I will handle Kalim. I will handle Crowley. You are done serving. From now on... I serve you. Let me take the lead. Just breathe."
👠 Vil Schoenheit
The Stew (The Breakdown): You are in the Pomefiore ballroom, looking in the mirror, and you start screaming that you're "ugly," that you're "broken," that you're "useless." The stress has twisted your self-perception. You start to scratch at your own skin, trying to tear off the pressure. Vil is horrified. He sees the "Fairest One" crumbling into the ugly despair he knows so well. He sees the poison he once drank now coursing through you.
The Pie (The Comfort): "Stop!" He catches your hands, his grip iron-strong. "Do not mar the masterpiece!" He drags you to the floor, pulling you into his lap, holding your wrists so you can't hurt yourself. He forces you to look at him. "You are not ugly," he says, his voice shaking with intensity. "You are exhausted. You are tarnished by the incompetence of others. But you are mine." He begins to gently stroke your hair, using the soothing techniques he uses on himself. "I will strip away this 'blot.' I will apply the balm. I will make you beautiful again. We will rest. No more rehearsals. No more duties. Just... sleep, my potato. I will watch over you."
💀 Idia Shroud
The Stew (The Breakdown): You are gaming with him, and you suddenly go AFK. You start typing gibberish in the chat. Then, in the room, you curl into a ball, muttering about "Game Over" and "Bad Ends" and how you just want to "log out" (leave the world). The air around you turns cold and static. Idia's hair flares with panic. He recognizes the Doom Spiral. He knows what it's like to want to delete your save file.
The Pie (The Comfort): He rips his headphones off. He scrambles off his chair and crawls under the desk/blanket fort where you are hiding. "N-No! No logging out!" he stammers, grabbing your hands. "It's not a Game Over! It's just... it's just a lag spike! A really bad lag spike!" He pulls you into a desperate, awkward hug, burying his face in your neck. "I'll... I'll carry you! I'll be the tank! You don't have to do any DPS! Just... stay in the party! Please! I can't... I can't solo this server without my Player 2!" He refuses to let go, promising to DDOS Crowley's email if that's what it takes to get you a break.
🐲 Malleus Draconia
The Stew (The Breakdown): You are walking with him at night. You look at the moon and start weeping. You talk about how far away it is. How far away home is. How you are just a "passing human" who doesn't belong anywhere. The despair is so thick it actually summons thunderclouds. Malleus stops. He feels the agony of isolation—his oldest companion—radiating from you. He realizes that while he found a home in you, you are still lost.
The Pie (The Comfort): The rain starts to fall, but it doesn't touch you. He wraps his cape around you, engulfing you in darkness and warmth. He lifts you into his arms effortlessly, holding you against his chest like a dragon guarding its hoard. "You are not lost," he rumbles, his voice vibrating through your chest. "And you are not passing. You are here. With me." He begins to walk back to Diasomnia, ignoring the school rules. "If this world is too harsh... I will burn it down and build you a new one. If you miss your home... I will tear the fabric of reality to find it. But until then... I am your home. Rest in my thorns, Child of Man. Nothing shall harm you while I draw breath."
A dish served with the deepest empathy and the strongest protection. The kitchen is honored to have served you, patron.
We do hope this Seared Scallop & Eel Stew brought the catharsis you needed!

I read one of your fics where you wrote of some disney characters reacting to reader with powers, and how they didn't want reader to use them. What if reader, despite having strong magic to do anything, just wants to grow pretty plants/flowers? Would they allow it if its not used against them?
I'm assuming you're talking about this. If so, here's what I think!
Maleficent:
If you prove that you can truly control it and that your ambition doesn't go beyond simple spells, she would actually teach you; at least that way she can keep an eye on what you do.
Queen Grimhilde:
She doesn't care what you do, as long as it benefits her or, failing at that, simply doesn't harm her. It's your magic; do what you want with it. She's not a babysitter. But don't expect her to be impressed if you decide to give her a small flower.
Mary Sanderson:
As long as you're not draining yourself, and the flowers you conjure are useful for the sisters' potions, do as you please. In fact, Mary would probably join you, sometimes correcting you, sometimes just laughing along. She's a good partner, even if she does steal children's souls.
Claudine Frollo:
No. Just no. It doesn't matter to her if you only conjure pretty flowers and other innocent things; magic is still demonic in her beliefs, and you'd better stop using your dark side. She's already doing too much for you by keeping you around despite your demonic nature.
Mother Gothel:
Ehhh, that keeps Rapunzel entertained while she brushes her hair, so go ahead, at least your little tricks made the girl happy and that increased the flower's power, so yes, you have free rein to use your magic as far as she's concerned.
Iracebeth of Crims:
It depends. Are you going to give her nice gifts? Then work your magic all day! Deep down, she just wants to know you'll really be there for her, and even if she doesn't say it, she actually enjoys seeing your flowers on her nightstand, especially since they don't wilt because they're magical.
Hades:
Are you Persephone? To be fair, your presence, even without powers, is the only thing that brings the underworld to life. So, in fact, not only does Hades love letting you adorn whatever you can with flowers, but Pain and Panic also proudly wear the flower crowns you make for them, and even the Fates try to protect you from their own scissors. Hades loves what you do, even if it means finding his throne covered in roses.
Hiii! Can I ask for malleus realizing that he had seriously hurt Reader after his overblot, something like broke her hand and burn her legs so badly that end up in the hospital for days
Sorry if this is misspelled, I'm not good at English!
Those green eyes that usually held such fondness and warmth when they landed on you, now dimmed at the sight of your bandaged and bruised body. Those dark lips that usually curled into a gentle smile when you were around, now quivered as he saw how exhausted and pained you were.
Burns on your arms from the heat of his flames now bandaged and treated, scratches and cuts from his thorns stitched and sutured. Even the gash on your forehead- from his dragon transformation causing rocks and rubble to fall in the diasomnia lounge, one of which knocked you out- now to scar you forever under your fluffy bangs.
He'd hurt you. Terribly.
You were fidgeting with a puzzle cube Riddle had brought for you during your stay in the medical wing, not noticing your dark companions distress- that is, until he spoke.
“…Child of man”
He called, his voice holding a wobble. Your eyes shot up at the sound, meeting his pained gaze. Malleus Draconia, the prince of briar valley, was holding back tears right now just looking at you. It sounded like just calling that nickname took courage beyond comprehension. Like he felt like he didn’t deserve to call it anymore.
“I…I am deeply sorry. For everything.”
He choked out the apology, his gloved fingers curled tight in his lap, digging into the fabric of his pants. He was looking down now, as if you were the one in the room who required such a respectful gesture. The sight of him so…unlike his usual self, stilled you completely.
Because despite everything that has happened, despite every problem he’d caused…you didn’t quite blame him. Perhaps it was because he didn’t land the blows with his own hands, but you separated his overblotted and over emotional descisions to be…not malleus.
Similarly to the other overblotters, it was hard to hold grudges over a mental breakdown. you had received injuries from them somewhat, and while malleus’s overblot caused the most damage, you treated it the same way- a moment of weakness, a breakdown- nothing he should be ashamed of.
So while the apology was appreciated- these wounds were still incredibly sore and you were trapped in a bed for days- you didn’t find it to be completely necessary. You didn’t find it necessary for the other overblotters either. All these kids apologizing for their mental health…Crowley should really invest in a guidance counselor or in-school therapist.
Regardless, malleus was practically quivering in front of you right now, as if your forgiveness would be his salvation. You’d never seen him this emotional before, perhaps it was because of the loss of his horn. He didn’t need to mask his feelings anymore, he didn’t need to bottle up, and thus, this raw moment became even more important.
it became clear that he was waiting for forgiveness like salvation because to him that’s precisely what it was
So you reached over to his lap, resting your hand atop one of his. He gasped softly, his eyes lingering on your soft fingers as they curled around his, pulling his hand to your lap instead so you could clasp it between both your hands as you offered a gentle squeeze.
“I forgive you, Hornton”
you said quietly, watching his eyes finally shoot up to yours, widening as they became a bit glassy. He let out a shaky sigh, resting his other hand atop both of yours, his tone hesitant.
“You say it so simply, as if…”
He paused, huffing softly as he screwed his eyes shut and tilted his head away.
“As if I didn’t almost kill you too…”
he whispered, but just as he choked it out, you were already cupping his cheek and tilting his head back to face you.
“Look at me, Malleus”
You ordered softly, your eyes flicking over his face, taking in his surprised expression at your quiet demand as he looked back to you. You’d never seen the dragon so vulnerable.
“I forgive you. That’s all there is to it. I know i’m hurt, I know ill have scars…but i forgive you...”
You trailed off before you could say anything stupid- like ‘I adore you anyways’ or ‘you’re the dearest person to me in this entire school’ or ‘I love you’…
He blinked, eyes searching your face as if trying to find deceit. But before he could, you reached down and curled your fingers around his nape, pulling him closer.
“now gimme a hug”
you said simply, smiling just enough to reassure. He didn’t object. He let you guide him to sit on the edge of the bed, the chair he’d been in squeaking against the floor as he moved off of it. And with quiet relief, he wrapped his arms around you as gingerly as he could, listening to your every breath, watching your expressions, making sure he wasn’t hurting you.
You only smiled and tugged him closer, and with a quiet sigh he nuzzled into the crook of your neck, hugging you tightly as he could without injuring you as you stroked his hair.
After a long moment of this, you heard a sniffle. And felt globby wet tears soaking your shirt.
“Oh malleus…”
You murmured, just as he let out a choked sob- almost sounding like a whimper- as his arms curled tighter around you, his nose brushing your pulse, nuzzling close as if to ensure you were really alive, really okay.
“I'm sorry…i’m so sorry…”
You carded your fingers through his hair as he cried, hesitating before pressing a gentle kiss to his temple in reassurance. He’d given you forehead kisses as ‘blessings’ before, so surely this would soothe-
he froze. You blinked. He gasped softly and then pressed a teary kiss to your pulse and the underside of your jaw and cried some more.
And even when he finally did stop crying, even when you’d dried his tears with your thumbs and teased and whispered little stories till he finally smiled a bit, he still stayed curled up in that bed with you, fingers and limbs intertwined. Till Professor crewel returned of course.
But he still visited you every single day afterwards.
