How about a Childe!MC with time travel thrown in? But with a slight twist. Childe → MC → Childe/Ajax!MC, and they remember when they fall into the abyss and meet Skirk, who is aware of the previous timeline (Abyss related reasons?). Skirk has Ajax!MC promise not to join the Fatui this time (died in the line of duty?), and trains them like they did the first time, if with more tricks (teleporting Ajay!MC with a tail like Skirks 👀?).

Instead of rejoining the Fatui once they escape/leave the Abyss, Ajax!MC is a better actor and doesn’t get shipped off to the Fatui by their family. Instead of speaking of the Abyss and getting into constant fights, Ajax!MC only mentions the wolves and stays home with their younger siblings. Of course they haven’t lost the bloodlust and fighting skills and everything, they’re just better at hiding it. They end up joining the Adventurer’s Guild to finance them as they travel Teyvat to sell toys (in line with Teucer and Childe’s Story Quest).

The destruction of Celestia and Abyss Order related issues along their travel route is completely coincidental and has nothing to do with them.

And then on the Harbinger side of things: they (along with the Tsaritsa) don’t remember the last timeline, but know that something or someone is missing. They are not handling it well. Why are they expecting there to be an 11th Harbinger. Why do they think that ◻️◻️◻️ who? would have liked those weapons. Why are they expecting someone to interrupt their meetings with unrelated anecdotes. W h o a r e t h e y M i s S I n g?

Make it even more angsty is if it was really the Tsaritsa/Fatui's fault he died. Yeah, he died on the line of duty, but maybe because the Fatui forced him to use his Abyssal form over and over again until his body just gave out? All the while this was happening they really didn't give him any respect?

Does that make sense? Sorry if it doesn't. 😅

But yes to Skirk full on remembering and telling him NOT to join the Fatui this time around! And he also becomes a toy seller! Now he isn't lying to his baby brother this time!

Oh, and what's this? The Fatui was remembering Childe!MC in bits and pieces? Oh well, I'm sure it won't come and bite Childe!MC on the ass later.

I’m going to do pantalone since he is the closest in age to our lady. He is only 30 in this. Hope you enjoy.

Basically she falls into the abyss like in cannon at 14 but she attracts attention after getting out of it and finishing her training. She looks otherworldly because she was unknowingly corrupted by the abyss. Her beauty attracts attention and she ignores her suitors. Her parents after dealing with all of this, send her to snezhnograd to get away from her suitors also so she can have a better life and job so she won’t be forced into marriage. She ends up working at a dress shop and is getting good at her job. She gets paid a lot even though she is still a teen so she sends some money back to her family which helps them out a lot even though they tell her that she should save her money. She is doing well as a seamstress and makes some very glamorous dresses that are seen at royal balls. She is mentioned a lot by the nobles at those parties and she attracts a ton attention that by the age of 21, she is making dresses for the Tsarista. She even makes clothes for the lady harbingers. After a few disagreement and jealousy from her coworkers she leaves the store she is working at and takes her clients with her. She is very successful and now created her own store that is in a different part of town.

After all of this a man comes to the shop, she can tell the man is rich based on the fabric and the stitching on the clothes. She is shocked when she realizes that this is banker, pantalone. Why is he here? She doesn’t have a debt that she was unaware of, right? She didn’t take out a loan? After seeing her panic for a few moments he asked if she was able to make a suit for him as he wants to try a new style and likes the designs that were made by her. He pays her more than anyone else has before and she gets to work. She makes him a glamorous suit and he is impressed by it. He loved it and even after pay twice what she asked, he gave her a large tip. After that, the dress shop receives the banker several times a week to just talk to Ajax. Pantalone likes her company and finds her interesting. Ajax is terrified of getting him angry but starts to enjoy the company and even starts to love the man. She however keeps a straight face as she doesn’t want to rock the boat. While this is going on the habringers get to laugh as pantalone complains that she is ignoring his hints about wanting a relationship. It’s kind of sad to watch but the Tsarista does end up offering advice after a good giggle. The two do end up going in a date and they do confess. They are having a smooth relationship and then pantalone visits her parents in secret to get their blessings, they agree and pantalone offers to move them to the capital to be closer to Ajax. The family says no but will be at the wedding. She is 23 when she gets married to her husband and she made their wedding clothes. They go to Liyue for the honeymoon as Ajax wanted to see some shipments of rare fabric. While out shopping without her husband as he is dealing with business, she meets the traveler and guides them, zhongli has feelings for the woman but backed off after finding out she is married. She leaves right after because business done and she isn’t feeling good. Heads back to snezheyha and finds out she is pregnant. The couple are excited and Ajax is making clothes for her child. Pantalone is secretly hoping for a girl to spoil. While all this is going on, traveler and paimon are getting letters from Ajax. The two enjoy it and are secretly excited about the baby. Later on when traveler is with the other habringers they ask how the pregnancy is progressing.

A Fem Childe!MC au! And her not joining the Fatui is a interesting twist! I like it! I especially like how she ended up being a seamstress and not something that invovles fighting.

Makes me imagine that Skirk secretly stops by her shop from time to time to check up on her. Skirk also probably threatened Pantalone as well. Twice. Once when before the wedding, and a second time when Childe!MC found out she was pregnant.

My idea was that Childe simply hadn’t told the Tsaritsa/Fatui how bad the consequences of transforming into Foul Legacy were, or downplayed the side effects. So they didn’t know how bad it was and Childe hid it from them so he wouldn’t be demoted or something. He then reincarnated into the modern/real world with no memories before re-reincarnating back into Teyvat as Ajax!MC (Ronova or the Abyss dragging their soul back maybe?).

Respectwise… maybe the soldiers mostly respected him because of his strength, but the Harbingers treated him like a child. Since he was their youngest and the last one sworn in if I remember correctly. (Miscommunication maybe? Where the Harbingers considered Childe to be their younger brother, but he only saw their actions as undermining his authority?)

With Skirk remembering, I also just had the thought of Enjou also remembering? He could be Ajax!MC’s “fun uncle” who bothers him during his travels. (Could have Ajax!MC/Foul Legacy show up in Enkanomiya and Natlan?)

For the Harbingers I thought they wouldn’t start remembering until they meet Ajax!MC, they just know that something is missing. Like… a person-shaped hole in their memories, where they know someone should be there but isn’t. An incomplete wiping from Irminsul if you will. (Dottore might pick up on the memory tampering first, considering the Segments, his/their memories, and his “studies” in Sumeru and on Irminsul. Scaramouche is also possible with him being a puppet.)

I wonder which Harbinger will meet Ajax!MC first 🤔

Yeah, it makes sense that Childe!MC would hide the negative affects his Foul Legacy transformations had on his body.

And fun uncle Enjou! The funnest of fun uncles! Would be interesting if he does somehow get Childe!MC in Enkanomiya or Natlan. If in Natlan, he could have a chance encounter with Capitano!

But as foe which Harbinger meets Childe!MC first... I'm not real sure. La Signora, maybe?

Childe!MC is being courted by Morax, one of the (if not the most) powerful gods in Teyvat, they’re an ex-Harbinger and don’t need a vision to kick peoples asses (probably didn’t just kill everyone as they could have because being perceived as “weak” had others dimiss them (very easy to get away with crimes if nobody thinks you’re capable)), and they have the other Harbingers and their deity/boss tracking them down and ready to murder.

Thoughts? Maybe better suggestions? This is a weird idea, but I thought it would be interesting if while their nations hated them, the Archon!MCs + Columbina!MC had at least one or two people on their sides in their nations...

People who were in truth like them. MCs. Souls that originally didn't belong on Teyvat. Souls that would very much like to get out of this damn video game and return their original bodies/homes on Earth!

I think Dottore would be possessive of anyone he considers his, and if Childe was his younger sibling and those feelings stayed when Ajax!MC reincarnated/time travelled… Well. Let’s just say Dottore (and the other Harbingers (plus maybe the Tsaritsa)) do not appreciate someone they were close to being erased from their memories.

And if they won’t come to their family the Harbingers willingly, then they will be brought in by force. It shouldn’t be too difficult to synthesise a drug capable of knocking out someone with Abyssal ties, no?

Yep. Enjou technically doesn't need to go to Enkanomiya... but the chance to mess with the Traveler? Oh, he wouldn't miss for the world! And the fact Childe!MC is helping him makes it a 100 times more funny!

And MC was transported into childe!MC the moment he fell into the abyss, also a bit of backround or before lore childe!mc was from Russia and was from a small town and he had the same ish size family with similar names and when he was transported into childe!MC he was on a walk alone in winter and fell down a cliff accidentally at that moment it was childe who fell into the abyss so childe!MC has a bit a memory haze and probably doesn't know he is in genshin

Also I think with the amount of MC we are making you might need to make a master list of the MCs as a whole

Hm, since we're going with the idea of this happening when Childe first fell into the abyss as, well, a child, I actually get the feeling Shirk would notice something was off, as she wasn't from Teyvat.

Maybe she even knows the soul within the boy she found wasn't from Teyvat...

But either way, it goes mostly the same, only Childe!MC's memory is more fuzzy about things... and maybe he's calmer, and not more feral, maybe?

It would be sad if he did remember his family in his past life but they died in a accident or something, so becoming a child again, and seeing people who had his dead family's faces and names... He might just cry.

So he would be super protective over them. So protective he would join the Fatui cause he has power-

Cause of this, he doesn't cause as much trouble, like awaken Osial, because he knew if it did it would backfire on the Fatui station in Liyue, and actually focus on heading to the Chasm to fetch the Fatui station there.

This would be hilarious if he doesn't tell anyone but the Fatui at the bank and Zhongli is expecting that Rascal to unleashed Osial as plan... only for Signora to do it since apparently Childe!MC was 'busy'.

Cut them later and Childe!MC is giving him and Signora a unimpressed look, and before anyone could say anything he just looks at Zhongli, saying-

Zhongli chokes, but Childe!MC isn't finished as he tears into Signora from with holding information and shit, and endangering the other Fatui station in Liyue, especially the chasm.

"If I hadn't figured out your 'plan', do you understand what could've happen to our agents there?! Liyue would've left them to die-"

Are the non-Archon!MCs also hated or do people just try to separate them from the Archon!MC?

Ei!MC and Shogun!MC could be an amusing dynamic, because that makes Shogun!MC Ei!MC’s child on a technicality. Maybe have Wanderer also be an MC (for a matched set 😉)?

Columbina!MC can have Illuga!MC and Jahoda!MC - one to tell her what’s happening with the Lightkeepers and Wild Hunt, the other to tell her about Nasha Town (and a little about the Scions when Lauma visits Nefer).

Zhongli!MC could have Hu Tao!MC and Qiqi!MC - two daughter intrinsically connected with death, yet still alive(ish).

I say some of the MC companions are hated as well, while the others are beloved (used and used and used cause they're 'useful'. Cough cough, Jean!MC and Illuga!MC-).

Wanderer being Ei!MC's second MC companion would be something... oh, what if Wanderer!MC and Shogun!MC were actually related to Ei!MC? Maybe Ei!MC being a cousin, while the other 2 MCs are siblings?

Wanderer!MC would also most likely NOT join the Fatui as he would prefer being around HIS family. Though, I would love if he maybe went to Sumeru during canon timeline, and swipe Nahida!MC away.

Oh, and this comes with a added bonus of Kaveh!MC, lol. Lets just say the men get into a tustle before agreeing to smuggling the Radish out of Sumeru.

Also, I agree on the idea of Illuga!MC and Jahoda!MC giving Columbina!MC information on the fractions in Nod Krai, but like i mentioned, Illuga!MC is 'beloved' for all his 'amazing' work as a Lightkeeper.

By that, I mean everything is dumped onto him. Work, work, work, and work, he's seen as the shining star of the Lightkeepers, while also being seen as a child by others (Flins-).

Jahoda!MC on the other hand... yeah, one of the 'hated MC squad'. Nefer... isn't a kind boss. At all... thats all I'm going to say.

Now, for Zhongli!MC, Hu Tao!MC, and Qiqi!MC, yes, absolutely agreeing on the found family vibe here.

Now for Hu Tao!MC and Qiqi!MC stance... Hu Tao!MC is definitely not seen in a positive light in Liyue Harbour. Not with her connection to death or her 'eccentric' personality (which is fake. She needs to play the part to survive-).

And Qiqi!MC, sad thing is I can see her being in a neutral category. Not exactly hated, but not exactly liked either. Her relationship with Baizhu isn't a kind one. Oh no, he doesn't hurt her, but... she was just a assistant, maybe something of a project for him.

Also, fun or sad fact, Qiqi!MC, while she can barely remember anything from her first or current life before she 'died', can still get flashes time to time of her first life... this is how Zhongli!MC finds out about her being like him when one day she caught her saying something related to earth.

Now for Tsaritsa!MC/Anastasya!MC and Childe!MC, I can say Childe!MC is hated. He was already considered 'odd' before he fell into the Abyss, only for it to grow worst.

Maybe they claimed he was switched out with a Fae when he was born? Either way, unlike Canon Childe, Childe!MC has zero contact with them. Hell, Treucer doesn't even know he 'had' a older brother...

Add to the angst is if Childe!MC always wanted a family in his first life... only to be denied it so harshly it shattered his heart beyond repair.

He can still smile, but the only people he smiles at truly is Tsaritsa!MC/Anastasya!MC and the other MCs once he meets them.

Nahida!MC and Kaveh!MC, well... I might need a little help on them- 😅

Mavuika!MC and Kachina!MC, oh boy, this one is rough. Kachina!MC is literally a child who got reincarnated as a child in a nation where it was expected for everyone to become warriors.

Kachina!MC doesn't want that. She didn't want to fight. That's scary. She just wants to find pretty rocks...

So of course, this leads poor Kachina!MC being placed in the 'hated MC' category.

On to Furina!MC and Escoffier!MC... i also might need help on them, but I do love the idea of Furina!MC realizing Escoffier!MC is like her via the chef making a Gordan Ramsey joke-

Now for Venti!MC and Jean!MC. Jean!MC is looked up to by all of Mondstadt. The acting Grandmaster, the pride of the Knights, always working, and working... and working.

No one, not her parents, little sister, 'friends', anyone besides Venti!MC, notices how she's working herself to death, and if she tries to take a break, she immediately gets shamed for it.

She hates it. Venti!MC hates it. They both hate it here in Mondstadt... why can't they (all the MCs) go home...
