It's so easy and quick to whip up your own pan-baked pitta as well, all you need is:
π± 350g of flour (+ some more for dusing)
π± 2 teaspoons baking powder
π± pinch of salt
π± 230ml of water
π± 1 teaspoon of oil
β‘οΈ Mix dry ingredient first, then add the wet ingredients. Knead with your hands for 2 to 3 minutes until a soft dough forms. Roll out pan-sized pitta shapes. Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat (don't add any oil!), add your pitta and 'bake' for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and small bubbles start to appear.
For an even quicker vegan Tzatziki-style dip, simply mix chopped cucumber with some vegan yoghurt, a splash of lemon juice, and add salt & pepper to taste. Add fresh herbs of your choice, or serve as is! π
