“No, I don’t know how I got a boner, It just kind of happened! It’s because of how you were eating that ice cream, I bet!” for cindy x cisco!
“Okay–what Cisco?” Cindy sighs after he shifts for the seventh time and groans for the third in a span of five minutes. “What’s the matter with you?”
“It’s nothing,” he mumbles, staring very intently down at what used to be a napkin but is now confetti.
Cindy sighs again, and turns back to her ice cream.
Being on Earth 1 is literally like stepping 75 years into the past about a hundred different ways. But the one way they have 19 completely beat is with food. Back home they don’t have much by way of decadent treats anymore, and even then she can’t remember a time when their ice cream was this good.
“Oh my god, are you finished?” Cisco’s words are muffled and when she looks at him, he’s got his face pressed to the table.
“That’s not sanitary,” she notes, licking the melted strawberry cream that’s dripped onto her hand.
“Cindy please,” he says, miserable look in his eyes when his head comes back up. “You’ve been eating that for half an hour. It’s not ice cream anymore. Please.”
“Please what?” she giggles. “I’m not allowed to savor?” She traces her tongue around the edge of the cone. Cisco makes the most pitiful strangled noise and looks sharply toward the trees. Cindy freezes.
“Wait–is this what’s bothering you?” she asks, smile tugging at her lips. She lowers her voice when she says, “Is this hard for you to watch?”
Cisco shifts again, and he turns back to glare at her. “Do you hate me? Is that what this is–you hate me?”
She rolls her eyes but she’s chuckling at him. “Alright, alright,” she says, getting up and tossing the rest of her cone in a trash can. “We can go.”
“Okay.” He starts to get up, pauses, sits back down. And he’s, really, really blushing.“Um,” he starts, squinting as he looks directly toward the sun, “I need a minute.”
“I’m not about to walk around swingin’ at pedestrians, Cindy. I was raised with manners.”
She swallows a laugh. “Alright well do you want me to wait with you or…”
He gives her a look.“Woman, you did this. You’ll only make it worse.”
Cindy preens at that, even as her cheeks heat. “Okay, well…see you in a bit?”
She makes it about ten steps before she’s doubled over laughing, and she hears Cisco’s head thunk against the table again.
