Or, Charlie gets sick, and then sicker. Vikram copes poorly, and has some realizations that are slightly overdue.

Last night, I had a thought: I think I took to Vikram and Charlie as a pair so quickly because one some levels their dynamic reminds me of another pair I adore.

Like John and Aeryn, Vikram and Charlie flip tropes and expectations of gender roles. Like John, Vikram is the more expressive one, the one more likely to discuss feelings. He’s the “girl”. Like Aeryn, Charlie is the more closed off, the one who’d rather go kick ass than have a personal conversation. She’s the “boy”.

Of course there are differences in circumstances and personalities, so it’s not a perfect analogy. But it works for me.

And just as John and Aeryn both grew as people because of each other, that’s what I want for Vikram and Charlie.

So, remember in “The Xena Scrolls,” when Mel got possessed by Xena’s spirit as soon as the broken chakram came back together?

Remember too how Xena SHAZAM’d the chakram together just before SHAZAM’ing (XD) it again with an entirely different chakram in season five, and how that put her back together as well?

Well… an idea I had that could possibly work (but would be really unethical to that BS... I mean, situation, with the Higuchi victims) is… Gabrielle could hand the chakram to Princess Diana, Meg, and/or Leah to do the same thing, right? 

Sure, Xena’d be in an older woman’s body, but she and Gabrielle could be together again.

…I’m so bad XD Poor dopplegangers. Their souls would get kicked out of their bodies just like the original second child Xena was pregnant with, Annie, Mattie, and Harry’s all did too. …But maybe Meg wouldn’t mind so much? According to Virgil, she really missed Joxer; maybe she’d want to move on to be with him?
