Chamber of Reflection
Would reintroducing the Chamber of Reflection help creating stronger impression on the mind of the candidate? (assuming efficient degree work).
It is easily seen that most candidates are not equipped to properly value the Ritual for its worth. There are keys to awakening the consciousness or building upon the budding self awareness of the Candidate. Presently, most are so enamored with this physical manifestation that they have failed to question the deeper meaning of life and reality, and are thus unable to see the deeper Meaning of Freemasonry.
Reintroducing the Chamber of Reflection could place the candidate into a truly contemplative state, preparing him to embark of this mental and spiritual journey. This contemplative state could lead to a deeper appreciation for this Sacred Science as well as make the mind of the individual fertile soil for the Mysteries and Layers of Freemasonry.
