K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?

For me, the most thematically satisfying character arc is Siegfried's. He goes from an arrogant teenage antihero on a tragically misguided revenge quest to one of the series' main antagonists, and the first chance he gets, he tries to atone for the destruction he wrought as Nightmare... Ending up under the influence of Soul Calibur itself in the process for a time, but even then, he survives the whole ordeal to come out older and wiser by SC5. If there's one thing I can't knock 5 for, it's Siegfried reforming his old bandit gang into a full-fledged mercenary troop in the interim. (Full circle!) I just wish we could've seen more of him as a mentor figure.

N - Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice).

In a similar vein to the previous question, Kilik shares some thematic parallels with Siegfried that I think are underutilized in fanworks. The both of them end up cursed by Soul Edge, and in Kilik's case, it was directly because of Siegfried! Atonement is a major theme for the both of them, and Siegfried might not have been able to do so if Kilik and Xianghua hadn't defeated Nightmare. So I like to think that Kilik would sympathize with him in that regard. He'd know firsthand about keeping malfestation under control, after all.

Any excuse for a joke weapon to be used, even if just for the fun of it. I will neither confirm nor deny that this was influenced by a moment in my WIP AU just yet. >:D

This is extremely pretty but... I wish more people would get Siegfried's eye color right. They're green, not blue. Green! That's the tiniest hill I will die on in this fandom.

How about two? These days, I tend to think of Pyrrha when I listen to "Refuse" by Android Lust.

Did you ever realize my strength that you devoured Will rot your heart from inside out?

In my mind, this version has more Pyrrha Omega vibes.

I also like the acoustic version. I've had the both of these playing in tandem for another WIP lately.

He’s totally a Slytherin. He had to rely on his wits & cunning to survive on the streets.

One thing I’ve always really liked about Aladdin is that he’s kinda unique among Disney protagonists in that he defeats the villain not by love or force but by trickery. See above about him being a Slytherin.

7: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character

Some of the stuff he said to Jasmine when he first shows up as Prince Ali was pretty cringe.

He has a higher tolerance for hot & spicy food than Azula does. This annoys her massively.

I had my moments of social awkwardness as a teenager, so I can definitely relate to him there.

Some of his over the top emo angsting moments. Also his colossal fuckup siding with Azula at the end of Book 2.

A (realistic):  Though Janne participates in helping reform the Orthodoxy, he finds it way too stuffy at times and takes fairly frequent breaks to visit former companions.  Minette is the most frequently visited, which Janne says is because she’s one of the youngest (even though she’s a year older).  They get along about as well as cats and dogs at times, and Janne starts it more often than Minette, but he does really have concern for her and how she’s going to adjust to a life with more people.  ...He also might be trying to catch what he can of Kamiizumi’s techniques, even though he bristles when Kamiizumi tells him he’s never seen someone so indecisive about becoming his pupil.

B (while it may not be realistic it is hilarious):  I’m not sure if it’s realistic purely because I don’t know why Janne would want to go to Ancheim, but maybe at the time the Skyhold was anchored to Ancheim, he met Jackal?  (...Presumably before the sandstorm started.)  I just recently thought of the idea of Janne trying to help Jackal out with the thief kids and I kind of love it partly for them sniping at each other but still cooperating.  Two grumpy dogs in the desert.

C (heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends):  There’s a few different ideas for being awful, but I think the most heart-crushing for Janne personally would be finding out that while House Balestra diverged from the other houses on the issue of the surrender, it was more like the other houses than not and had its own share of corruption.  Most of the evidence was lost when House Balestra fell, but Yew found and decoded messages between the Balestra and Geneolgia heads before their paths parted...and never told Janne, mostly because Yew believed both that the messages probably didn’t show the entire situation, and that at that point, it should just be regarded as all in the past.  It causes a huge fight and nearly a year of non-communication between the two of them when Janne finds out.

14. whats your favorite thing about drawing?

I love coloring so much, especially in pics where my shading makes it look kind of 3D, which is pretty neat! Also, making effects! I've tried different things over the years, and it's fun to experiment!

35. if you had one piece of advice to give your younger artist self, what would it be?

For the most part, don't worry about how fast you finish your pictures. Start early (if it's a contest or something time-limited), take your time, and make it look your best!

'We will marry': (both sequel and spin-off) Odo thinks married life is so fucking awesome that he wants more people to experience it and so starts forcing people together, like Garak and a certain rebellious human called Bashir.

'In the Name of Love and Business and Stuff': the sequels are already lined up since awhile. Some involve more llamas, others have beetles and slugs.

I wasn't expecting so much love for 'Feral Ferengi'. While I enjoyed writing it very much, I had the feeling the whole regurgitation business would throw many off.

1. Cheese Puff, despite his name, doesn't like chips as much as his brother, Bulgogi

2. Bulgogi had a maine coone-ish growth spurt after always being smaller than his brother (Cheesy still can't believe it and continues to start fights he will loose)

3. They viciously hunt after the running vacuum cleaner, following it from room to room

4. Cheese Puff likes to sit on shoulders and does not care if you currently sit on the toilet or not
