The main hero has 5 letters in his name.
The main heroine, and the hero's sole love interest, has 4 letters in her name.
Now, this obviously doesn't cover all the canon couples in Final Fantasy, but this is still something I couldn't help but notice.
Also, notice how these 4 canon couples share a consensual and mutual and romantic and loving kiss. 😉🤭

Wouldn't that mean that Zidane/Garnet, Locke/Celes, Squall/Rinoa and Vaan/Penelo weren't supposed to be canon? XDXD i'm joking, althought i do think SquallxRinoa is rather questionable as a romance because the actual romance starts when Rinoa faints at the end of CD2, and Squall carries her on his back by himself and even then, it sounded more like Squall's abandonment issues flaring up rather than actual love, sure the romance developed later, but i find icky that despite the Fisherman Horizon's talk(which depends on how the school-band performs, thanks to a minigame) Rinoa had to go into a coma for Squall to just...panics
