This was done to explore a headcanon spun up the other day pertaining to Terran kind (Final Fantasy IX) and how, given that they have some cat (canonically as a whole) and bird (mostly Kuja in individual interpretation) inspiration going on, that they too may exhibit some degree of both cat and bird-like social behaviors - namely, face rubs, nuzzles and general contact as a form of affection to be shared, particularly by bonded pairs/groups.
