People seriously underestimate how many versions of Cloud that Tifa has known and loved. Every persona, facade, high and low of him have been seen by her. Some of those are created because of Tifa. To know Cloud is to track back to Tifa.

(I actually fell asleep right after work, so I missed the entire initial showing, but thankfully it's still on YouTube, so I just finished watching it!)

I wonder what finally convinced Nomura to lend Tifa out to another IP, especially an equally huge IP such as Capcom? Do you have any guesses, or can you legally not say anything if you do know?

"Tifa is a character loved by the players all around the world" — well, at least Hamaguchi is finally saying that! So much better than what he kept saying in 2024 in the months immediately after Rebirth. Hopefully his media training from Nojima, Nomura and Kitase continues to shine through as we get closer to 2027.

2) The full 8 party member team standing together!! (Yes I'm excluding the pink slimeball because she's literally dead and NEVER coming back to life) I think it would've been cooler if they did a Power Walk, but them standing together still looks badass!

Yes, Tyler Hoechlin got replaced. He couldn't make the commitment to continue, which is a shame, but Sephiroth has had so many vas it hardly makes much difference.

The party has 4 fits, 3 of which are universal to everyone and 1 unique one. At least that's the word so far. Likely be add ons for more, the devs love playing dress up with the characters.

Resolve was the title...until it wasn't. Nomura flip-flop 🤷🤣

Tifa's line is likely post lifestream scene since she's saying "you" plural in jp. Cloud's line is also likely post lifestream scene and talking to the party after he comes back.

Each party member is the leader for their own arc segment like in Rebirth. But Tifa is leader overall after Cloud goes missing, and that's for a good 2hrs of gameplay, not including sidequests or anything off the main scenario.

The release date is likely to be March, but that's not a definite, just my guess.

I also know some other stuff not in the trailers but I'll get in deep shit if I say anything. I figure this much is okay 😁

As for the trailer of FF7r....i've no problems, nothing to say about it(this is why i usually avoid trailers, and stuff like this) aside Cid saying "Sky is the limit", i know it's a figure of speech, but it's ironic considering his story arc about wanting to go beyond the sky XD

Tifa still cute, her voice makes my usual indifference and aloof-personality melt a little...in a good way, but i'm italian, we all know how much we italians love Tifa(literally have a senator caught watching pictures of her while on the job XD)

Already know the game will bring nuclear meltdown to my pc, and the game is gonna be expensive as hell...and they expect us to pay a third time for the last third of one story....yes that still annoys me to know end and make me look at piracy with more understanding eyes, i don't condone it...but i understand when you've to choose between one game and a week worth of groceries for a family of 5(which is my case, so i know what i'm talking about)

Faris and Lenna (from FF5) are light-eyed pink-haired sisters, with Faris being the rough and tough older sister and Lenna being the sweet younger sister, and Faris having a real name that she rarely uses (Sarisa)... all of which literally fit Lightning and Serah to a T.

My god, Toriyama really just stole a lot of things from previous FF games and blatantly paste them onto FF13 and tried to pass it off as his totally original magnum opus that he wrote and directed. Even literally casting Maaya Sakamoto as Lightning after she was already voicing the dead pink slimey snake.

ISTG the only thing I like about FF13 at this point is its soundtrack by Masashi Hamauzu. Everything else about it is absolute garbage.

If Tifa died instead of her aeris would be happy and use that opportunity to flirt with cloud. Hell there isn't a single scene where you can say "she loves Cloud". She just loves the attention

I'm up the Costa del Sol now and the whole bit on the boat in the hold between her and Tifa felt so fake. Like she'd deliberately made Tifa sympathetic all so she could go off about Cloud and try to steal him from her with her "boys" business.

So I started the game from scratch but with the enhanced progression settings active cause I don't wanna be here all year.

Some things I've noted:

Aerith talks more than literally every other character combined. Like she will not shut up. If Tifa says one word, Aerith will say two. If Tifa has two, Aerith will say three. And nothing of any substance or point to the conversation. She literally just talks to be heard. All. The. Time.

Aerith will literally be in every single cutscene unless Cloud is alone with Tifa or she isn't in the party. Like even events or quests that have nothing to do with her, she pops up beside him or is right there prominently in the background.

Aerith's quests gatekeep a lot of mandatory events. Like getting the mountain chocobo, or progressing to the next main scenario. Hamaguchi made it almost impossible to play this game without interacting with Aerith constantly.

You know, sometimes the things CAs do annoy me, like when they bash Tifa or claim she's just a "side character." Other times the things CAs do make me laugh, like when they claim Yuna from FFX and Lightning from FFXIII as Cloud and Aerith's children, the same way they claim Sora from Kingdom Hearts. And then other times the things CAs do concern me. This Instagram post right here, I don't know whether to laugh or be concerned. It's a mixture of both, honestly.

Why would Cloud be nervous by Aerith taking her ribbon off? She's just taking her ribbon off, she's not taking her clothes off. He looks more confused than anything. Hence his "You've been weird all day" line he says later.

And how is the white materia a symbol of Aerith's virginity? It's a sacred artifact used by the Cetra to summon Holy, the ultimate white magic. It didn't even belong to Aerith originally, it was passed down to her from her mother. Soo...what does that mean for Aerith's virginity?

And how can a sex scene be "beautiful, loving, and compassionate" if it doesn't exist? Cloud and Aerith were just having a conversation. How does this equate to them doing the devil's tango?

This post reminds me of the CAs who claim that Cloud and Aerith did the deed on their gondola date in the OG. I'm not sure if you've familiar with it, but right after Aerith tells Cloud she wants to meet the real him, the screen flashes and then it shows the gondola pulling up to a stop. The CAs claimed the screen flashing was to indicate a passage of time, and during that time, Cloud and Aerith did the deed. It's an outrageous take, but somehow this Instagram post is even worse, because how are you going to take a scene in which Aerith gives Cloud her white materia and conclude that this means they had sex? It makes even less sense when you consider Cloud "nakama-zoned" Aerith in the Japanese version. So Cloud and Aerith had sex and Cloud STILL refers to her as his nakama? Man, that's harsh. For Aerith, I mean.

I'm very surprised though that this CA said Cloud and Tifa had sex UTH. Like I can't believe they actually admitted it. CAs love to deny that ever happened because they don't want to admit that Cloud and Tifa progressed to a level in their relationship that Cloud never reached with Aerith.

It's just crazy to me that CAs will accuse Tifa of being "creepy" and "manipulative" about the almost kiss between her and Cloud in Gongaga (because I guess Tifa is secretly a Jedi who was using her powers over the Force to draw Cloud closer to her since he would NEVER in a million years want to kiss her) and will call the actual Cloti kiss on the gondola a "rebound kiss" or say that Cloud only kissed Tifa because he was jealous Aerith might still have feelings for Zack or a bunch of other excuses, but a clearly non-romantic scene between Cloud and Aerith is a sign that they had sex. But what can you expect from the same people who claimed that Cloud and Aerith's high fives in Remake were more romantic than the Cloud and Tifa train roll or that Cloud and Aerith holding hands at the end of Rebirth was more romantic than Cloud and Tifa actually kissing?

Like stardust, i'm experiencing a mix of both plus dread and despair, because what i'm seeing is not just delusional people but delusional people who have a below-zero IQ(and EQ), like there are dumb people and then below them, there are clerith-fans.

Maybe it's the heatwave that is hitting my country, but i feel like at any given moment i may vomit, and what i read just know it's pushing whatever secret trigger for vomiting i may have.

If they kept it in their own bubble/communities, or just wrote fanfictions, i would be more tollerant, i would be kinder, but these are people who insist that what they say is canon while contraddicting themselves ALL THE TIME.

Honestly, knowing this was originally a CT post makes a LOT more sense because literally eveything the CA accused CTs of doing (constantly twisting the narrative, targeted harassment, etc) was stuff CAs were guilty of. And yes, Cloud's love for Tifa is on such a grand scale that it completely eclipses anything for Aerith.

Not sure why this CA thought they could get away with copying a CT tweet nearly word for word but they did it twice so I guess they really did think they could get away with it. Nice try, though.

How sad is it that I have such low expectations? SE has let us down so many times in regards to how they have not, at this point, revealed even just a modicum of new information about Part 3. We were supposed to get news in September 2025 (State of Play) but we got nothing. Then they got our hopes up again at TGA in December 2025 and we got nothing. Then we thought we'd hear something in tandem with the release of Dear Destiny in January, and we got nothing.

It's just sad that they've let us down so many times now that I'm just not expecting anything from next week's State of Play. I'm expecting more disappointments instead. [sigh]
