Pleasant sounds for a (rainy) Sunday afternoon: Bach’s Cello Suite No. 3 in C Major. 

Johann Sebastian Bach, the famous German composer and musician, composed six suites for unaccompanied cello (a string instrument) between 1717-1723. The ‘Prelude’ or Suite No. 1 is played in G major and mainly consists of arpeggiated or broken chords. This one is probably the best-known movement from the entire set of suites and is heard till date on the television or in the films: http://bit.ly/Johann_Sebastian_Bach

Mstislav Rostropovich plays Bach’s incredible Cello Suite in C Minor. Most people know the G Major one, but I think this darker, more profound No. 5 is superior.
