Lucifer also still needs some parenting and care which he tries to make sure that doesn't fall on any of his brothers but Mammon keeps showing up and doing it.

Mammon struggles going to Lucifer with his problems and will either drink or sleep outside Lucifer's door. Lucifer usually drags Mammon inside and lets him nap on the bed while he keeps working.

Mammon usually takes care of Lucifer when he is drunk. Lucifer usually tries to enter through his bedroom window if he's out so Mammon won't have to take care of him since he is the adultiest adult in the house and Mammon shouldn't worry about him. Unfortunately for Lucifer, Mammon's usually already waiting there to help Lucifer get his shoes off and tuck him in.

Lucifer got terribly sick once, partially because he didn't rest when he got sick, and the thing he was most scared by wasn't dying but leaving Mammon to handle everything, alone. Lucifer couldn't imagine surviving everything with the others without Mammon, and he didn't think Leviathan could support Mammon the way he's tried to. He has attempted to get Mammon to open up but Mammon is also sealed shut.

Mammon cries himself to sleep most nights, Lucifer usually notices and checks on Mammon if he doesn't confuse Mammon's sobbing for his own when he's in his office with no one left to hide from.

Lucifer didn't get toys as a child, he had a job. Mammon, like many children, try and copy the adults they admire so he went to meetings with Lucifer and tried to pay attention but all he understood was math. Unfortunately neither of them were adults, neither were the seraphim since Lucifer and Micheal were the first angels.

Mammon and Lucifer are two forms of invulnerability. The one people have given up on trying to get to open up and the one nobody acknowledges or even knows about. The worst part is they both want to be safe enough to be vulnerable, but unfortunately Lucifer thinks everyone will stop listening to him because he's shown to not be as strong which is what the Celestial Realm taught and Mammon doesn't think anyone would care to listen except Lucifer who has already taken on too much and handled too much of his shit not to mention that Mammon wouldn't be heard over Satan's tantrums, Asmo's screaming, and Leviathan's constant self deprecation. The moment Lucifer has time to worry about Mammon and go check on him someone else starts screaming.

Mammon and Lucifer watch over the brothers in shifts normally. Mammon takes the daytime in which his crows will watch their designated brother and report back to Mammon while Lucifer listens at night for anything unusual in the house of Lamentation and using magic to watch the ones out partying. Lucifer loses so much sleep but Mammon does too since he'll stay up and go watch Asmo at late parties so he can be on scene with Asmo if something goes wrong.

Lucifer had exactly one breakdown in front of Mammon after the fall and it was because he didn't actually know what to do now that they were all in hell, Lilith was dead because he failed her, and they now have an angry demon that is his baby but he doesn't actually know what to do with a demon baby. Mammon got the easy stuff before the fall but since he discovered how much actually weighed on Lucifer he really tried to help parent the others. Neither acknowledged the breakdown, Mammon was just happy he got to comfort Lucifer even once.

Mc was not only given to Mammon because of how reliable he is, but because Lucifer thought Mammon could use a friend. Of course Lucifer did not trust Mc at first, but they were nice to Mammon who needed someone to be nice to him and if they made Mammon cry he could always just feed them to Cerberus to make it look like an accident.

Mammon has had a few psychosis episodes (depression connected) with no one noticing since they thought he was drunk since he also has a drinking problem or the witches messing with him. The lack of intervention in general was concerning, all he got was a minor lecture from Lucifer over alcohol (hypocrite) and not angering witches before someone set fire to the kitchen, he probably would have caught on if given a bit more time with Mammon.
