My ideas/headcanons for the rarest of pairs in the Danganronpa fandom: Celestia x Fujisaki. All headcanons either predate the killing game or fit in a non-despair au. Feel free to take n use these ideas as you will.

-While they first meet on the first day like everyone else, They don’t initially interact for a while. Their first interaction is when Fujisaki sees Celestia having a bit of trouble in a computer class and offering to help. Celestia, trying to keep her persona intact, refuses. Fujisaki is a bit bummed out, but tells her the offer to help stands.

-Next time they interact is during a later lunch period. Fujisaki is making themselves some tea. Celestia comes by and, due to Yamada being sick that day, tries to make some tea herself. Before she can, Fujisaki offers her some of his own. She is reluctant, but since it saves her from making it herself she accepts. She finds it is “acceptable” and begins joining Fujisaki for later tea times.

-During future tea times, the two slowly begin talking to each other. At first it is just small things, but as time passes their conversations get more personal. Fujisaki is happy to see Celestia acting more genuine, and Celestia is surprised at some of Fujisaki’s personality traits, having previously seeing him to be nothing more than meek and humble. Eventually, they begin to hang out even without tea involved.

-One day, Fujisaki actually makes Celestia laugh. Not her haughty persona laugh. He elicits a genuine happy laugh, and the sound makes his heart flutter. It’s at this point he looks back on how far their friendship has come, and begins to think that he may have a crush on her. Simultaneously, Celestia begins to wonder when she started enjoying Fujisaki’s company more than her loyal servant Yamada. 

-Feeling conflicted over their feelings, they each go to their other friends for advice. Fujisaki goes to Mondo, one of the few people who know his actual gender. Mondo just tells him to be honest and tell Celestia how he feels. With a rousing speech of support from Mondo, Fujisaki resolves to do just that. Meanwhile, Celestia is asking Yamada for advice because she doesn’t know just what she’s feeling. Yamada goes off on a bit of a tangent, but Celestia figures out he’s trying to say she’s fallen for the small programmer. Perhaps she has met someone she can be truly honest with.

-The two meet in private, each resolved to lay things in the open. Fujisaki is super nervous, but decides to go first, revealing he is a boy and is attracted to Celestia. Celestia is surprised at both the revealed secret and that Fujisaki likes her despite her rough persona. This bolsters Celestia’s own courage and she reveals her feelings and true name. They will give this relationship a try.

-Then Celestia surprises Fujisaki even further by pulling him into a kiss. It’s the first kiss either one has ever had.

-After that point, Celestia is still the snarky gambling princess to everyone else, but anytime she’s alone with Fujisaki, she becomes the soft Taeko Yasuhiro.
