Celestia: "I am leaving! I am going to live in a castle where no one touches me without permission!"

Kyoko: grabs her hand and kisses her knuckles

Celestia: freezes "You… you are ruining my dramatic exit."

Kyoko: "Stay?"

Celestia: "Move your hair, it's in my face."

Kyoko: "It acts as a curtain. It creates a private zone for us."

Celestia: "We are in public!"

Kyoko: "Not in this curtain. We are isolated here. Kiss me."

Random Student: "If you two ever break up, call me. I have a thing for damaged women."

Dead silence.

Kyoko: "Celeste."

Celestia: "Yes, Kyoko?"

Kyoko: "Did he just call us damaged?"

Celestia: "I believe he did."

Kyoko: "Shall we dismantle him?"

Celestia: "Psychologically or emotionally?"

Kyoko: "Both. Simultaneously. I'll take his self-esteem. You take his will to live."

Celestia: "Pleasure doing business with you."

Random Student: "It was a joke—"

I honestly don’t think Kyoko would give Celestia any time of day.

I think Kyoko is one of those characters whose relationships only work if they start out really young, because the older they get, the harder it would be to really form a relationship with them due to how closed off they grow to up be.

I think with all of her relationships, platonically included, whatever character has to be in her life in that year in such a specific environment for her to really trust anyone to the extent that she does. If that even makes sense.

So, really. I don’t see many situations where Celeste can really fit into her life, even in an au. Kyoko is too driven. *Nothing* is going to stop her from working on a case, and someone in her ear telling her that they miss her and to come for family dinner isn’t going to slide. She’d just leave/ never be in that situation in the first place.
