A gentler term for alters who may be drawn to unhealthy behaviors or people, like moths to a flame.

; a flag template to be used for making species flags for your fellow alters in your system
; flag is an edited version of the alter role flag
[ This template is to be used for non "mixed origins", non endogenic CDD systems only, we do not want any endogenics using our template. There are other templates made by the (pro) endo community for flags exactly like this. Do not use my template. ]
[ I do not consent to my template or terms being uploaded to pluralpedia. ]
[ ask before adding our terms and/or flags to any archive or archive blog ]
PT: A 13 stripe flag that fades from a dark blue to a light yellow. /END ID
This was coined to describe our personal experiences.. gulp here we go
A subsystem that is low in differentiation. In a variant subsystem, the alters may appear as the same person but in different time periods, emotional states, ages, etc.
ID: A yellow userbox with a purple outline. Theres an image of the sysmedicalist flag that says: “This was made by an anti-endo. Do not upload to pluralpedia” /END ID
These flags indicate an alters level of identifying with the body. In order from left to right:
Body Non-Identifying: An alter that doesn’t identify with the body. This alter may feel distress about this misalignment, but that’s not required.
Body Neutral: An alter that is neutral on the body.
Body Identifying: An alter that identifies with the body.
I do not consent to any of my flags being uploaded to pluralpedia!
Image ids:

Middle id: A 7 stripe flag made of horizontal stripes in shades of orange and light yellow. On the right side is a large circular icon outlined in orange, containing an orange silhouette of a person against a yellowish-orange background. /end id
Right id: A 7 stripe flag made of horizontal stripes in shades of green. On the right side is a large circular icon outlined in light green, containing a darker green silhouette of a person against a green background. /end id

An alter sourced off of the “fanon” version of a character, whatever that means for the user. Colors are a desaturated version of the fictive flag with more blhe tones, to represent a fanontives unique relationship with their “canon” source self.
Canonself = The “canon” version of the character a fanontive is sourced off of.
Fanonmates = The fanontive equivalent of sourcemates.

This term was requested by a person in a discord server I’m in!
ID: A 13 stripe flag with a black stripe in the middle. It’s in shades of purple, yellow and a light blue. /END ID
Similar to introject, an intraject is an alter whose sense of self and identity is a “clone” or different version of another alter in the same system.
This name is a bit of a misnomer and so more nuanced differences between introjects and intrajects below.
Examples of how this could present are:
-An alter being split into two or more new alters with more than alters identifying with the pre-split alter. (This of course includes splits that are more 90-10% rather than 50-50% in how elaborated they are, and so one alter might seem like less of a new alter than the other.)
-An alter that is often co-conscious/fronting with another alter and picks up their traits and a similar sense of self. They might lack awareness that some of their emotions/thoughts/behaviors are being highly influenced by other alter/alters.
-Multiple current or past hosts/frequent fronters who all identify with the body and shared name the people in their outside life call them and so develop to be similar in basic self concept.
-Alters that appear to be different ages of a shared general identity.
-Systems with less differentiated alters, often relate to less extreme forms of amnesia (like black outs) and greater amounts of memory sharing but not always. These systems that have many alters that seem like different versions of one identity are more likely to present in OSDD-1 systems but can be seen in other CDD systems.
-An alter forms as a clone of another alter that has since split, fused, or gone dormant. This concept is more similar to the traditional introject and since I have never seen this yet, is a hypothetical for me right now.
Intrajects may be more common in variant subsystems. More below.
It’s very very important to not think of intrajects as directly similar to introjects. While both involve alters that are similar and take on the identity of a different “being”, they have many differences.
Intrajects are not often (from what I have seen) alters that form to take on the beneficial traits from a “source alter” within the same system. They are often more likely to function as less differentiated alters that are both equally their “source” and that either split off from each other or have enough memory sharing in other ways to identify with each other's experiences and identities. In most cases, if one claimed one intraject to be the true “source” of another, like with a fictional character being the source character of a fictive, it wouldn’t really express the mechanics of most intrajects correctly.
For example, an intraject’s memories, even if carried out by another alter who was co-conscious/fronting or the alter they split off from, those are not source/pseudo memories (unless this alter has genuine adulterated/pseudo memories which the former isn't rare for even non intro/intraject alters or even singlets), those their *their* memories as much as they are any other alter’s memories. (While all systems have the right to determine their own treatment goals and preferred terminology, and it’s important this right is encouraged, if any form of fusion/non fusion integration is wanted, it’s often beneficial to progress towards viewing outer experiences and memories as collective even if stored more in certain alters than others.)
Just like with introjects it must be noted, intrajects can have different ages, beliefs, emotions, abilities, and so on. The main determinant is often being very similar, most often is relation to how intrajects view another intrajects general self concept, “body” and name as also “theirs”.
PT: A 9 stripe flag. The first 3 are a blue gradient, the last 3 are a purple gradient. The middle 3 stripes are an off white and gray-ish pink. There is a dark blue chest in the center. /END ID
An alter who remembers the location of, keeps, or records a few specific items, usually those that are essential for the systems functioning.
