#cdd ableism

They think that the term and concept can be separated from CDDs because they wholeheartedly believe that alter is just "someone else in your head". I don't think I have to explain how that's extremely watered down and ableist.

In refusing to understand how CDDs work, how they form, and how alters come to be in the first place they water down alters to just a "buddy in your head", rather than a severe response to severe trauma.

Their community time and time again, refuses to listen to those with CDDs around them that call them out of their ableist logics and behaviors. They refuse to see how the very core of their beliefs are born from pure ableism. And in doing so, they are a community that isn't safe for any trauma survivors, let alone anyone with a CDD.

It's incredibly disappointing that even when you argue with polite and nice endos and pro endos, who actually listen to what you have to say, they still aren't actually taking in the information you're giving them. They still aren't actually listening to the disordered person telling them how the community they're in is unsafe and ableist, because they see endos as "friendlier". Because they don't see the ableism, because they don't have our fucking disorder.

People think alters are separate people. They are fascinated by pwCDDs, treat them like a spectacle, want "alters" without the pain

Most systems who know about r/systemscringe hate the subreddit, no matter what stance on syscourse they have. We also hate it and we wanted to explain why.

You cannot genuinely be sending me a post that says anti endos need to stop stealing "your terms" while in the same post they steal the term syspunk which was made by an anti endo. I was there when the term was created, you fuck ass people want to gaslight us into believing that it's your term so badly that youve gaslight the vast majority of your community into genuinely believing it. You are fucking disgusting. I will continue to use the term plural, I will continue to steal your terms because you ableists don't deserve to have them. Sending me a post like this that blatantly disregards the history behind the term syspunk l, a post in which someone who is about anti endos "stealing", is only going to fuel me more. I will continue to take these things from people like you, I could not give less of a shit about you or your community after your community refuses to give up it's blatantly ableist views and beliefs about systems and DID. You can go fuck yourself.
