is it just me or is pushing the willogenic label onto CDD systems with fragments that had outward influences to elaborate their identity kind of annoying?
oh my gosh yes. I feel that so much. I need to rant about how systems with higher headcounts or high numbers of fragments get invalidated so often….
in regards to some of the recent awv drama spillovers, i want to say one thing and one thing only.
i do not think anti willo solivan or anti willo valerie are safe people for trauma survivors to be around, especially minors. and no, that isnt because theyre both openly proship. i wont say its completely unrelated, but their stances on shipcourse and fic-course are not the main reason i believe this.
when the cae server was still up, before i had left it and cut off all other staff members, there was a private server made around the same time mod applications were opened. this was done in order to have a specific space for "the og staff" before new staff would come in. in hindsight, i wouldnt be surprised if that private server was made for the sake of continuing to allow certain staff members to talk shit about server members behind their backs without newer mods calling them out for it, or to even potentially talk shit about new staff members. thats just speculation, though.
this private server was home to many conversations that were. severely uncomfortable, putting it lightly, many of which were centered around solivan and valerie. not only would both of them encourage engaging with incest media in a sexual manner and claim that romanticizing it "didnt hurt anyone" (which is objectively false), but they would also have open and sometimes rather graphic conversations about kinks (the one i remember most was a conversation about ageplay that devolved into discussing specific ageplay dynamics in detail) with neru and monika, who are both minors. i shouldnt even have to explain why this is wrong on so many levels.
i dont believe that any of these people deserve to be harassed. no one deserves that. but i cannot sit here and watch people interact with two individuals who are genuinely unsafe for both trauma survivors and minors alike. im not going to call either of them groomers, but i will point out that these kids of discussions is how many grooming cases begin. especially with how often the two would baby monika despite its toxic behavior and claim that "its so young that it doesnt know any better". speaking that way about a 15 year old is objectively weird, especially with the added context of the conversations they would have with it where they not only excused monika telling others to kill themselves, but further encouraged extremely unhealthy coping mechanisms that will harm it more in the long run.
regardless of what stance you have on shipcourse or fic-course, please do not interact with either of these two. with how ive seen them both behave during caes prime, i genuinely dont think anyone would be safe interacting with them, especially not children.

How the hell are your sources (both in the MCU and the comics) survivors of institutional violence/abuse within psychiatry, and yet you pitch an ideology that basically chains systems to and forces them to define themselves through the psychiatric system? You people (anti-endos) make us less and less likely to ever even want to call ourselves someone with a CDD. I hope I never get diagnosed. I will never cut off the nondisordered parts of my community because I barely associate with disorder language at all. It's a fucking trigger to do so, for reasons I will not share because you will accuse me of trying to intentionally trigger you because that's what anti-endos do. You pitch yourselves as actually caring about the traumatized (unlike "endos") but only when it's convenient for your ideology.

You can be anti-psych/psych critical while being pro-science/research, which we are. Said research literally shows that systemhood is a spectrum, so there's not very strict restrictions on how a system can present itself. Nothing about that scientific research is 'chaining systems down', it's just literally not possible to be anything but traumagenic. You imply you don't like the terminology; Make your own, reclaim endo terminology, whatever. No one cares. It's fine if medical language is a trigger. Why are you trauma dumping in our inbox.

Btw no, Jericho is not a "spiritual system". How is his character even remotely similar to being a system?? He communes with the dead and controls the spirit of his twin brother either within his own body or within the body of others. His practice is Voodoo. What the fuck are you talking about. "but his twin brother possess his body!!" Equating systemhood to possession is fucking wild. Systems are not separate people posessing a body. Alters can be distinct, yes, but they are not separate people; they are the dissociated personality states of one person. They may be highly distinct and individual, but they are never truly separate, and all tie back to one fractured, dissociated personality that together, they would make up the whole of were they not dissociated. Stop speaking about systems if you don't even know the basics of how they fucking function, regardless of if you're a system yourself.
