Eyeve wanted to try making a comic page or two using characters from a different comic for awhile now, as a form of expression practice.
Almost all of meye comic characters have either strange or limited facial expressiveness, so eyeve wanted to see what eye could do with a different sort
Also eye just thought it'd be fun
Exept eye don't read many comics and eye wanted to choose a comic eye liked. And while eye wanted characters more conventional then meye MOTWYW ones eye still wanted to use characters and character designs eye found interesting
And then today eye got really into a comic called misfits in toyland
Eyeve been seeing the occasional page and then eye figured out the full thing so far is on tumblr so eye started reading it and oh meye God eye love it so much but eyeve been going on too long so eyem not gonna go ranting about it here
In short, eye thought the comic would be perfect to try this out, especially since eye thought it would mesh well with meye toy characters and so eye sketched up this comic page using Maria and Glitz. Eye hope eye got Maria right
Eye guess this counts as fanart
Misfits in toyland and thus Maria belong to @zal001
There will probably be another page since eye dident finish. Eye don't think eyell ever ink it since it's just basically expression practice via fanart
Eye don't think eye have to say this but this is absolutely NOT Canon and eyem not affiliated with misfits in toyland. Eye just love the welcomic and thought it would be a good thing to use to test meye expressions with characters with actual (comparatively) normal faces
Eyeve been talking far too long eye gotta shut up
Eye talk wat too much when eye get going
Anyway eyemma read this comic more
If anyone's wondering why eye wanted to make a comic as expression practice instead of just drawing the character, you can pull any expression in a single drawing. Using a comic there is actual emotion in story for me to try to convey. Instead of me just choosing whichever expression looks the best
