So, my caseworker and I were talking yesterday and she said something that made me feel a lot of feelings at once.
So, apparently, it's hard to get an apartment in my town rn because they're "going so fast"
Apparently, her colleagues and those like them from other companies are helping so many people get homes that it's hard to get one before someone else does and I'm so happy that people like her exist and their programs are working. People like me, mentally ill and disabled, struggle so hard to do things on our own and the programs that we need are designed to confuse us and make it hard to get help and people like her are indispensable, especially if they're not just here for the paycheck.
