I hate the CPS in this country (Norway) so fucking much
They failed to protect me from my abuser, they made my life so much more stressful and traumatizing than it would've been have they done their jobs properly
I can't even file a complaint against them because it won't do shit (max what they will get is a fine, and that's not what I want. I want there to be consewuences followed by improvement)
I'm so angry and sad right now. I hate injustice and I do my best to fight against it but the people who's litteral JOB it is to help victims don't even give a shit.
The system has failed me many, many, many times. This is why I want to get a job in some kind of social services, so that I can be better than them.
I will be that one social worker that showed someone kindness, the one who helped and who clearly cared. The one ready to die fighting for justice.
I do not care where this mindset will put me at in the future, I am fuelef by frustration and spite and will work until there's nothing left in me.
I know the foster care system is a hell hole but if your parents villainize CPS (or wtvr it’s called in your area, for me it’s DHR) then 9 times out of 10 they are abusive, no healthy parent is going to whine about how “they’ll take you away from me” bc if your children are taken away then there was a reason for it, the cases of children being taken away when they didn’t need to be are NOTHING in comparison to the children who needed to be rehomed & weren’t
If a child (or teen for that matter) is scared of CPS then I’m immediately suspicious of their parents because I was scared of CPS as a child & I think I would have lot healthier views of myself and my relationship if someone had done something abt how I was treated (the only person who even threatened to was my aunt so my parents got more careful around her)
