Snack time !!

It is a reasonable explanation that every stuffie I come across with needs saving. It's a universal rule, and I won't accept otherwise.

It's only human of me to save them. They need friends so I bring them home with me. Plus, in reality, no one could ever have too many stuffies.

you all deserve more appreciation!! i feel like sometimes agere spaces can be dominated by a certain aesthetic that doesnt include those of minorities... and i see shoutout posts for littles/pets which is AMAZING!! we love to see it!! but i just wanted to put out some positivity for the caregivers < 33 yall deserve it

☆ This is a quarter sized zine that prints on two sheets of paper, it talks about some of the complexities around relying on caretakers as a disabled adult ☆

For a teeny bit of context about me: I am an autistic, ambulatory wheelchair user, living with multiple medical conditions that frequently require constant watchful care or hospitalization.

I am also a complex trauma survivor, which does shape my experience but isn't touched on in this zine. Please keep in mind that this was written from my lived experience perspective and may not accurately reflect the lived experiences of other disabled people, even those with overlapping diagnoses, symptoms, and demographics!

I tried to keep this one on the shorter side, but as a result did have to cut several planned topics for space :O

disability is complicated and tangly to talk about and hard to abbreviate because there is so much nuance, and i tend to be a pretty long and wordy sort of creature. i miiiight make another one at some point talking about more topics within this or going more in depth, so if there is any specific thing anyone wants to see discussed in a future zine let me know!
