#car sharing

I would reblog @stormblessed95 very thorough post but I didn’t want to add more scrolling to y’all’s day so you can refer back to it here.

I know it’s important for people to see them riding to and from places because it would make sense, the car picks them up at the same place and brings them back to the same place. We are accustomed to that in our own world. You go to work with your honey and you ride home with your honey. Makes sense.

But we all know these guys (since they just told us) are pursuing different things and apparently have been doing so for a while, they have vastly different schedules. Yoongi listed off everything he’s doing and then Jin says he is at home gaming 24/7. All different.

They all have separate residences but that doesn’t mean as soon as they get home from work they don’t jump in their own car and go wherever they want? We don’t know! Hell, maybe JK has to go pick up Bam from the doggie daycare as soon as he lands at the airport because his brother couldn’t dog sit. We don’t know! 

Maybe they just have different things to do, even at all hours of the day/night. THEY DO NOT LIVE A 9-5 LIFE LIKE WE DO! JK likes to do a boxing workout in the middle of the night even after he’s just performed a 3 hour concert. Maybe he heads straight to a workout. We don’t know! Maybe they just don’t want to ride together. Three in a car is too crowded. No one wants to try to crawl into the very back seat. WE DON’T KNOW! Or maybe they just go to their separate residences, “I’ll be over later, babe.” We just don’t know.

Trying to insist that car sharing holds so much weight to prove anything is so unrealistic. 

The obsession over Jimin and Jungkook sharing a car is unnecessary. Just because they might not live together does not mean anything regarding them maintaining a close relationship, whatever that may be. 

Keep in mind the societal norms of Korea. REMEMBER WHAT SORT OF INTENSE SCRUTINY THEY ARE UNDER! LOOK AT THE FALLOUT FROM THEIR ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! 

Just seeing how much attention they garner just getting in and out of cars where ever they are should tell you this is not a good thing when it comes to privacy.

Hello! It is World Car-Free Day! The event encourages to give up driving for one day. It is  organised in some cities in the world. It’s also celebrated in my country but I noticed it is not perceived positively by people. 

What is wrong? Well it was invented to bring people’s attention to reducing the use of fuels and the needless overuse of cars. I find it really stupid using a car for one person if we have an opportunity to pick up a few passengers. Going through the same way in five various cars is a lot worse than driving a one car. I know it is easier, but think how much traffic and pollution we could lessen! But there will always be people who would say “airplanes waste a lot of more fuel everyday”, exactly but we are talking about cars now. But you do not have to fly anywhere either, it is not a must. Baby steps are important! We do not have too much time! 

Of course I encourage you to walk or ride a bike for a short distances if you can and choose trains or public transports if you have to pass the longer distance.  There is one more thing I wanted to mention. This month I decided to make my driving licence. My main reasons were that: 

the only one member of my family has driving licence and it is my father and he’s old and not very healthy (so if something bad happened I could use a car)

I live in small village without public transport connection

my school is far from my house

it is good to have the licence even if you do not drive a lot

The last reason is what I wanted to expand. Having a licence does not force you to drive everyday. I think I will drive a car as less as possible. I really enjoy and appreciate using public transport! Even now when I am just a passenger if I have to, I choose to give me a lift to the nearest bus stop instead of delivering me all the way, because it is useless. I also stay in my dormitory for  two weeks so I reduce one weekend returning distance.

we took this sweet baby to the vet for the first time today! (the first time since we’ve had her, that is.) she was a champ. no indication that she knew there were needles being stuck in her butt.
