Alright, I've gotten through six out of seven books of Charlie Higson's The Enemy series, and I do have to say that the enclave of infected-but-not-yet-turned survivalists who settle on Robert Scott's famous last words of "I'm just going outside and may be some time" as a black-comedy in-joke code phrase to indicate that they need to be taken out of sight of the group and shot before they fully turn, has cemented itself as one of my favorite beats in anything zombie related ever
