sadness: described from books as a blob like shape that is soft like a pillow

anger: I think anger would be spiky, and in the books they were described as having many teeth

fear: I don’t have much for fear, but like a whisp kinda

hope: glows like a candle, small and quiet

guilt: form shifts and isn’t stable

loneliness: fluffy, droopy eyes

joy: wanted it to look kinda cute but not to happy

doubt: crooked body with many arms

grief: I wanted the puffs to be unique, and model this one after a jellyfish

defiance: described in books as having spikes like a puffer fish

isolation: one eyed, like someone with no friends

shame: I made the eyes look full of shames

jealousy: gave them cute paws, didn’t have anything for this one really

Nico's cacodaemons, grown.

These are my headcanons/ideas of what some of Nico's cacodaemons might look like when fully grown.

Grief, the eldest, is an elk. Isolation is a one-eyed wolf. Shame is a toothy wild cat. (Went from the incredibly brief descriptions in TSATS. Hope to see more descriptors in the second book.)

Because He Didn't Have to Be. PG, Will/Nico, so much fluff your teeth will rot, post-TSatS.

Nico can always tell when Will, his boyfriend, is nearby. It's not a Son-of-Hades thing. It's not that he has some innate "Will sense" imparted by their deep love and closeness, either. No, this ability to always know when Will is around is something much more… let's say mundane.
