ok, so hear me out: what if the lyoko warriors retained the wounds they received in battle in the digital world? like---they get out of battle and they are just COVERED in wounds from fighting the digital monsters and or irl monsters that X.A.N.A possesses/creates in their world. also, since the ‘return to the past’ doesn’t effect them at all, they keep the wounds they got, which makes everyone worry about what the hell is happening to them (this also applies to stuff that happens to them mentally as well--I’ll post a chart of symptoms I’m talking about later)

The first one is an Icejin/Frost Demon OC I made very long time ago, his name is Fresa (If you have been following me for so long, you might remember him... Or not idk ajajkskak).
