the whole drift is the missing princess plotline, is that a retcon? like I know drift said she was a princess from the start. but she also said that her dresser was a family heirloom that she had imported from home. and she also said multiple times that she paid a bunch of money to the academy in tuition. Both of which feel somewhat difficult to pull off without her father's knowledge, the dresser one especially. unless she has an ally back home, helping her smuggle furniture out of Thornreach I guess. I suppose I'm just wondering how seriously to take early stuff Drift has said
