Thank you for the report! The code there is a phenomenal mess because I had to hit it repeatedly with hammers to stop Mal from flirting unsolicited, and it looks like I missed making Mal's scene check a flag/was relying on the 'flirt' value alone, which on closer inspection can in fact be lower than what I set it to check.

I'll get it fixed up.

near the beginning of the firstcaper.txt chapter when we receive kay’s text message, the line displays as “Checking the message, you see 6.” doing a little bit of code reading, i think it’s suppose to display the chosen contact name or unknown number

fyi i chose to share my contact with kay in recruiting.txt and picked “Showdown at the oKay Corral” which set it to telname 6 so i think smth went a little funny around here… (maybe because instead of the @{} its just *set telname so it set it to the number instead of the corresponding name but erm idk code)
