Jeez I think I realized I was a 3 fix when I read about how they will tell you "how lazy/incompetent" they are while getting half of the things someone else gets though the day. Because, although I'm a 9, I've come to realize how much I always loved to "show off" to friends that I reached X amount of pages (in those gigantic notebooks btw) in a day when writing my book (I still get distracted when idk how to keep writing without realizing and even when I do realize irl I don't stop immediately) and they'll be like "... Man, r u alright-". Plus, I have to admit it, I get so mad every time I see a celeb getting canceled for saying/posting smth that, for my pov, could be so freaking avoidable. To the point I actually plan to... Idk, curate (? my internet persona before I published lit anything book-wise. Or even having various accounts in the same app/web just in case I post smth cringe or have a really bad take on smth I'll regret or think better about later. Same thought process when it comes to "Oh but X worked with Y although they have terrible allegations of doing Z!". Like, bruh, I'm searching u even in the dark pits of Dante's inferno before working or saying anything abt u. And I have to be in the same space nmw I'm not even making eye-contact idk jsjs
Yeah. I’m image-last and I still feel the deep cringe when other people torpedo their career or say/do something terrible in public. I do image-manage sometimes, but it’s exhausting to curate a polished appearance for more than an hour at a time. My regular self is a lot more natural, unguarded, and 6ish. Likable, but not particularly “putting my best foot forward at all times.” IDK whether to be in awe of image cores or think “geez, that must be tiring.”
