Piña Festival is celebrated every June, culminating near June 29, the feast day of Saints Peter and Paul, the city’s patron saints. The festival was created to honor Ormoc’s thriving pineapple industry, which has long contributed to the local economy and livelihood of farmers. Throughout the celebration, the city comes alive with colorful street dancing, cultural shows, pageants, concerts, and agri-trade fairs featuring pineapple products and local delicacies.
