More Than Just a Game: My Experience at the Ormoc City Superdome
The Ormoc City Superdome was buzzing on March 15th! My classmates and I, along with our teacher Mr. Dajes, were there to watch a basketball game. Mr. Dajes had a super cool idea we were going to interview one of the players after the game!
The game was seriously intense! All the players were so good, it was hard to take your eyes off the court. They were dribbling, shooting, and passing like they were born with a basketball in their hands. It was so exciting!
After the game, we got to interview one of the players. I asked him his name and age. He said his name was Garri Sacay and he’s 21 years old. I asked him what his team’s name was, and he said it was the Wolf Grey team.
I asked him, “Kuya Garri, how was the game?” He said it was fun but tiring. He said he was happy with how his team played. I said “Thank you for your time, Kuya Garri!”
For Mr. Garri keep up the good work, Mr. Garri! You’re really good at basketball! You’re great player, and you’re always giving it your all.
The game was really amazing. I learned that basketball is more than just a game it’s about teamwork, passion, and never giving up. It’s about supporting each other, pushing yourself to be better, and having fun while doing it! It was so cool to see all players on the court, giving their all.
