1. Saiga + Eren: the guy who knows everything and the guy... who doesn’t

2. Togane + Historia: pretends to be someone they’re not
Historia: Well, I pretended to be someone else for the benefit of others. Can you say the same for yourself?
Togane: Yes, holding back all the clues about the history of the walls was clearly for the benefit of others.
Historia: Y-you don’t know that yet. It hasn’t been revealed!
Togane: Pity your story goes so much slower than ours.
3. Nanaba + Aoyanagi: the sacrifice

4. Connie + Mika: the guy who is obsessed with something that doesn’t seem plot relevant but is
Mika: We’re just smart.
Connie: Exactly.

5. Ymir + Kagari: the guy who is deeper than he seems
Ymir: To be honest, I’m just, like, 100% gay.
Ymir: Being a Titan is just an added benefit.
Kagari: I mean, I guess I’m more than just comic humor.
Kagari: But not having a Titan identity deep!
Ymir: I feel you judging me.

6. Levi + Ginoza: the asshole guy who later turns out to be pretty human

7. Hange + Makishima: a bit too curious
Hange: And unappreciated.
Makishima: Oh speak for yourself. I feel much appreciation from Kogami.
Kogami: That’s disgust.
Makishima: He has trouble with his emotions at times.
8. Mikasa + Akane: keeps protags in check
Mikasa: Eren!!!
Akane: KOGAMI-SAN I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU DISOBEY ME ONE MORE TIME I WILL USE THE DOMINATOR ON YOU
9. Reiner + Kamui: asked and (tried to) receive
Reiner: All I asked was for Eren to join me!

Reiner: But he’s a Titan!
Kamui: He’s a main character. They don’t think like us bad guys!
Reiner: Well, couldn’t someone have told us sooner?

10. Armin + Kogami: the guy who figures literally everything out
Eren: That’s a win for us, right?
Kogami: Well, from my story, you learn that ‘win’ comes from loss. So just be careful, okay?
