March Madness: My dog ate my homework...
Employers this is the week when you should be on the lookout for “my dog ate my homework” type of excuses for why your employees didn’t show up for work. Obviously March Madness is upon us, and many of our butt cheeks will be planted on the couch. Eating anything from delivery pizza, to whatever chips are in the pantry. Who has the nacho dip and salsa?
I wonder who the first person in history to use “my dog ate my homework” as an excuse. Maybe it was during the early March Madness years when a student got so glued into the games that he/she forgot to write a paper for the following day’s assignment. Us foodies drool over any sentence revolving around the words, eat and/or food, so this seemed like a fitting time of year to bring up such an unfortunate chain of events. Last time I checked dogs don’t eat paper. I can’t even get my brother’s dog to eat a blueberry!
Russell and KBadd break down every game in the entire tournament-- from the First Four to the championship game. Want to know which 1 seed will be the first to lose? We agree. Want to know which three teams are most likely to win it all? We agree. Want to know which Cinderellas are most likely to make it to the Sweet 16? We agree on many of them. We give you detailed analysis as to *why* certain teams will beat other teams based on a season of watching tons of games. If you want a chalk bracket, or if you want a bracket riddled with upsets-- we have informed opinions to help you make your decisions. So don’t wait-- listen! And please subscribe! And tell your friends (the ones not sharing a pool with you)!
March Madness and my ability to fill out a winning bracket are mutually exclusive. SIGH. :(

Brew Madness! FINAL FOUR
The Road to the Final Four ends: HERE.
Will we be making upset history the way the men of college basketball are? You decide:
Lagunitas Lil Sumpin Wild (3) – don’t scrutinize the bottle tooooo closely…
Pabst Blue Ribbon (2) – things are getting serious so I am using full names.
Take Our Poll
Victory Golden Monkey (5) - will you go for the GOLD?
St. Bernardus Abt 12 (3) – this monk is showing…

Close Game Alert!!!
I am not sure if everyone gets ESPN Sports Center alerts on their iPhone like I do (which I lovingly call ‘Score Center’ – it is SO much more than scores though, how do you think I found out that the Eagles signed Sanchez (boooo) or that the NFLPA was looking into the release of Jackson??)… Anyway, if you DO, than you are familiar with the “Close Game Alert,” if not, it is exactly like it sounds.
