St. Bernardus Brewery Tripel
The original
De Leckere Razende Swaen Tripel (Picked up at Ekoplaza Foodmarqt in Amsterdam). A 2 of 4. Somewhat lacking in the usual tripel yeast qualities in the nose, and a relatively thin body. It’s clear this has a Belgian yeast strain, though, and has a touch of orange citrus in the nose.

Troost Tripel (Picked up at Ekoplaza Foodmarqt in Amsterdam). A 3 of 4. The banana/bubblegum yeast notes are dominant here with some citrus and spice in the background. Fruity sweetness dominates and it’s clear there’s a bit of booze here, despite it being not incredibly high. Not the most exciting Belgian tripel, but it checks the boxes it should, if a bit exaggeratedly so up front.
Wednesday early afternoon, March breezes through my open office windows! I've got work but I'd rather not.
Earlier I noticed a recent mutual unfollowed me. She'd followed maybe a month ago and I'd followed back. This is a prolithic blogger, mostly reblogs which are fine - I'm really missing @justmelagain, but Tbh, too many inane adages. You know, the obvious ones we really need'nt be reminded of. Like "It's better to not tolerate a shit person in your life than to... tolerate a shit person in your life" Okay, no big deal, but I admit, I wondered why they unfollowed.
I'd noticed they'd recently posted "artful" selfies. Not sexual but sensual maybe? I'd ignored them. Anyway as I was scrolling my dash just now, not working, a slew of posts from this blogger presented. All were reblogs and most were dumbass adages or images evoking little response. I realized I could "unfollow."
Like a March breeze clearing chaff -Victory!
