body language. thinking of body language and how it applies to klaus; the best way to sum it up is intense. the way he carries himself, the aura he gives off, the way he looks at people - it's all intense. even in canon, he's shown to constantly be getting up in the personal space of others, usually as an intimidation tactic, or as a way to make them uncomfortable. he typically has some sort of power pose ( hands clasped behind his back or at his front, arms spread wide, hands steepled under his chin, etc ), and even the way he walks is so aggressive - he typically moves fast, arms swinging quickly to match. the weight of his gaze is also a lot, both from just the sheer amount of years he's lived and the calculating nature of his brain. he's a master strategist, known to be multiple steps ahead and able to foresee + plan for numerous different outcomes. he's very observant, and while emotion can blind him sometimes, he's typically excellent at reading people, and he expertly uses what he sees in others to adjust his plans accordingly. as a result of this, it likely feels to people he interacts with that he is just staring directly into their soul - if they're on bad terms with him, it's probably a rather creepy thing lmao. for those in his good graces, it shows that his attention is completely on them, with all that intensity within him to go with it. again, he's just the most all the time.

Talk to me about habits. Do they show any? Do they bite their nails or twirl their hair? Are habits easy to kick? Are they bought about by emotion? Do they even like them?
connor has both good and bad habits --- essentially all of them are learned through watching people, or rather being among them for as long as they have. she has discovered ones that she likes, ones that work for her. some are ones that stave off anxiety or even unstable states, and some are healthier than others.
for example? one of her unhealthy habits is that she smokes on occasion. she likes the feel of the cigarette between her fingers, she like to flick the ash and watch the wind take it. she likes how the smoke swirls in her mouth, though she’s not a deep lung smoker. another is that she is rather fond of the taste of whiskey --- she can’t get drunk, maybe tipsy, but it takes a phenomenal amount... she quite likes older whiskeys, especially ones that are barrel-aged. she likes the numbing sensation on her tongue and the bite at the back of her throat.
a middle-ground or debatable habit? is the sheer amount of coffee she drinks. she loves the buzz from the caffeine. also, she loves her coffee black --- the more bitter, the better; no cream, no sugar, like ever.
as for habits that are more central to something like her body language? she hates the quiet almost as much as she hates a lot of noise --- the hubbub at the bar is actually kind of comforting to her. in that? she often has habits that produce noise... such as: tapping feet on the ground or a chair, tapping fingers be it on a table or a glass / mug, toying with her hair near her ears and so on. complete silence is not soothing to her.
