Time for OPLA Bluffy redraw 😈

haha I can definitely see why people ship it after OPLA. Buggy sure loves to grab Luffy's face. Personally, it's not for me - the age gap makes me squick, and I see Luffy as aro!ace.

With that said, I've read one (1) brilliant Impel Down fic where Luffy is written as SO aro!ace but also fucks a very bewildered (but into it) Buggy mostly out of sheer Luffy-like curiosity! He reads as VERY aro!ace and in-character throughout, which was delightful.

And obviously, as a Shuggy shipper... the angst potential of Bluffy as a whole EXTREMELY messy and toxic rebound thing is OFF THE CHARTS.

I just personally can't deal with 30+/teenager ships! Plus, I am a Bottom Buggy Believer (praise be 🙏😌) in most circumstances, and I have only seen that one amazing fic that Followed My Truth AND kept Luffy in-character.

Suffice to say, if Luffy was like, in his twenties, I would very much be all over that. Because sad loser 30-something projecting SO hard onto his ex's adopted kid, who is completely aro!ace but has fucked him on occasion just because he thought it would be fun (and skipped away happily leaving Buggy EMOTIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY DEVASTATED)????? is certainly. A dynamic.

And then if Shanks found out... hooo boy the mess.

I've been hard at work on commissions for the past couple days and was able to take a little breather and put the final touches on one of my Bluffy fanarts for cool down.

Gonna try and post up some sneak peeks by the end of the week since a shoulder/neck injury has me stuck in bed for most of the day and my busy schedule has fizzled down a bit 💀
