The boys is they had emotion spectrum rings
Grace: Blue channels and invokes hope
Simon: Red channels and invokes rage
Rocky: Green channels and invokes will
Redrew/reinterpreted an old picture of Saint Walker from 2011 and uh, it was a challenge alright.
tbbh hope and I haven't gotten along since March and that made this really difficult to work on (aside from the fact blue is a terrible color to work with and one I have major skill issues with lmaooo), like, why draw a character that embodies hope when you're just plain burnt out from the day-to-day? (Those who are familiar with me may know what I'm referring to; if you don't, then it's none of your business)
Because I didn't want October to be empty in my year in review, that's why. XP
Also, I haven't touched or read a Green Lantern comic since 2013 and apparently Bro'Dee is a Green Lantern now...? Lord, I fucking hate capeshit comics, smdh. I stopped reading because I hated getting invested in characters/ideas only to have them blown out due to events, new creative teams, editorial bullshit, ect. Fuck that, man.
Original from 2011 below the jump and I will let you decide which one is better.
ok Im so back

I'd like to read an AU where Jor-El becomes a Blue Lantern.
Think about it. Everything about his story hinges on hope.
He took his research and his findings to the planetary council hoping that they would take action before it was too late.
When the council refused to listen, he made plans to move his family off world, hoping that at least they would be safe.
When the planet's deterioration accelerated and there was no longer time to build a ship large enough for himself, Lara, and Kal-El, he sent just Kal-El out into the universe hoping that the tiny space pod would carry him to safe harbor.
Any number of things could have gone wrong. The pod could have been damage in the planet's explosion. The pod could have gone astray and ended up on Apokolis (Elseworld, Superman: the Dark Side), Kal-El could have been found by the US government and kept in captivity and studied (Flashpoint Paradox). He could have simply just died, a baby out in space, cold and alone.
But Jor-El sent him anyway.
Because he had hope.
Jor-El is capable of great hope and in the last moments before Krypton's destruction, as the planet is breaking up around him, he holds his wife in his arms and hopes that he did the right thing and that his child will survive-
...and in the last moment before annihilation, he hears a voice; "Jor-El of Krypton, you have the capacity for great Hope. All will be well."
And a weight settles on his finger.
