I’m SO amazingly proud of myself! This is my last post in the blog like crazy challenge I so graciously accepted. If you don’t remember exactly what the challenge is from my previous post To blog like crazy or nah?, it’s a challenge given by the founder of See Jane Write, the challenge is to publish a blog post every day in November! Doesn’t sound that challenging to experienced bloggers, right? Well I’m here to say it ABSOLUTLEY is a challenge I think for any one, more so to a new blogger who only had 5 post pryer to the challenge…*raises hand* yep that new blogger would be me. I had just decided try my hand at blogging and sharing my thoughts and opinions with the world.
Why would one take such a challenge? You maybe thinking…I wanted to push myself to get WAY WAY WAY outside of my comfort zone and learn to let go of my inhibitions. When I started with those first five blogs I was having a friend to read over an check my post for grammatical errors and stuff and even after a 2nd pair of eyes reviewed the post I would be a wreck after posting…but 29+ post in I’m just doing me, like it or not and it feels absolutely amazing!
What did I learn from blogging like crazy? I have learned to trust myself and that consistency is really good. Consistency is good for building an audience, and helps me get better. So far blogging has led me to meet and connect with some amazing women, share my little slice of the universe for all to see, and create some amazing things in which I would have never done before I started this journey!
For anyone wanting to start a blog or anything for that matter, I encourage you to go for it! Please don’t wait for your circumstances to become perfect, don’t wait for your money to get right, don’t wait to gain popularity or support from anyone, just do it! Surprisingly blogging has been my calm in a major storm. After going from a working in a great position for a great company for 10yrs to stepping out and switching positions at a different company and it being horrible, to being unemployed for 6+ months only to get a part time position in a completely different field! Trust me I’m not complaining because I know it’s all in Gods plan for me.
With today being a soggy rainy day here in Birmingham I threw on some comfy gear to hang out with my husband, run errands, and get a little Christmas shopping done.
Hope you all have had an amazing day!
Live your dreams the Superb way!
Challenge Complete… I’m SO amazingly proud of myself! This is my last post in the blog like crazy challenge I so graciously accepted.
