Finally managed to start working on the page for my berry pastel rainbowcy!! After lusting after this page template that I’ve seen used by a few simmers (tainoodles immediately comes to mind!) I finally figured out how to get it to work ... mostly

A long time ago someone asked me if I was ever going to do something like “bullet-point headcanons/imagines” (I think that’s what they called them, at least) with the D:BH characters. They mentioned that they’d read in a previous post that I’d written a bit about the characters on my own and they wanted to know if I was ever going to do anything else with this blog. I’ve thought it over for a long time, taking my writers block into consideration, but it’s something I’d like to try. I’ve generally been very hesitant with my writing, because I don’t believe I’m very good, but this idea has intrigued me ever since it was proposed to me.

I’m not sure how to start out or if anyone would even be interested in me doing headcanons/imagines with the characters, but if you have any ideas or potential requests, go ahead and send them to me and I’ll do my best.

So I’ve decided that I want to start posting some excerpts of my various WIPs, just to get people familiar with my writing style and to get thoughts and maybe even feedback?

Except I don’t know where to start. So here’s a tiny poll, because my Word program has stopped working and I need to feel productive. Please send in an ask, or reply, or message me with what you might want to read!

Option One: The SOLE Project

The SOLE Project is a science fiction story with teenagers who have been biologically engineered to have superpowers. The story follows their struggle to survive their enemies and to survive each other, so the excerpts from this story could include: - witty banter between sarcastic teenagers - displays of superpowers in epic battles - displays of superpowers in a more mundane, these are a part of me way - character deaths? If you guys want to read that? They’d be under a cut, of course, to prevent overt spoilers.

Option Two: Satan’s Secretary

This is the first book in what’s planned to be a seven fantasy book series, and it follows Ash Gentum as she works for an organization that monitors the life and activities of all nonhuman creatures on the East Coast. She acts as a High Counselor, dealing with demons and the other residents of the Under as she tries to solve criminal cases and resolve domestic problems. Excerpts from this could include: - A tour of the different divisions of the aforementioned organization - Sarcastic lines from Ash’s narration--she’s a salty thing, she is - Lines that can be taken wildly out of context and make no sense because they talk about Satan and demons and the like - anything else I'm particularly proud of, I guess, because it’s still being written.
