Using the free time I have before my lab placement starts, I decided to start going through some chemistry papers in the areas that I would most like to do research in! Now just to wait a few more days until I find out if my grades are actually good enough to start applying for PhD funding next semester *internal screaming*

i found my older brother's grad school notes way back 2011. i really admire him for the way he motivate himself. ❤

My morning set-up before starting my second summer lab placement - reviewed some NMR & read over some general notes on the project I’m doing. I have an overnight reaction running so I’m v excited to analyse the results tomorrow!

27.06.17 // Reading some papers before I start my first day of synthesis in the lab in Glasgow! Despite being ill the first two days, I've been having a great time here so far & everyone in the research group is nice! The lecturer I'm working for even took me out for coffee on my first day bc we were early for a meeting 😊

22.06.17 Tried to keep myself distracted while I wait for exam results by organising my third year chem folder. I also made a list of all the topics covered in each module which I'll be using as a guide to make a summer revision timetable! I think it's v important to refresh your memory especially when it comes to ochem bc there is just so. much. content!! 😵

I can't believe today is my last day of lab placement w/ the Corr group in Glasgow uni! 💔I'm giving a presentation this afternoon on the work I've done & I'm super nervous - wish me luck ahhhhh
