The Classic Blended Burger combines the rich flavors of ground beef with the earthy goodness of mushrooms. It's a tasty and healthier twist on a traditional burger.
Ingredients: 1/2 lb ground beef. 1/2 lb ground mushrooms. 1/2 onion, finely chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 hamburger buns. Lettuce leaves. Tomato slices. Cheese slices optional. Ketchup and mustard for condiments.
Instructions: The chopped onion and minced garlic should be cooked in a skillet until they become soft. Put the ground mushrooms in the pan and cook them until they start to brown and give off their water. Take it off the heat and let it cool down. Put the ground beef and the cooked mushroom mixture in a bowl and mix them together. Add pepper and salt to taste. Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Make 4 burger patties out of the mushroom and beef mix. The burger patties should be cooked for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them. If you want to use cheese, add a slice to each patty right before you turn it over. Put the hamburger buns on the grill and toast them for one minute, or until they get a little brown. Put your burgers together on the toasted buns by adding lettuce, tomato slices, and any toppings you like. Enjoy while hot!
