Ingredients: 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed. 200g mushrooms, finely chopped. 1 small onion, finely diced. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast. 1 tablespoon soy sauce. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. 1/2 teaspoon cumin. Salt and pepper to taste. Burger buns and toppings of your choice.
Instructions: Saut mushrooms, onions, and garlic in a pan until they are soft and smell good. Pulse the chickpeas in a food processor until they are small seeds. Mix the cooked food with the nutritional yeast, soy sauce, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Pulse until nothing is left out. Make burger patties out of the mixture. As soon as the pan is hot, add the patties and cook them for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and fully cooked. Put on burger buns and top with your favorite things.
