Hearts full of regret,

I say, "It's time to forget,"

But this time is frozen.

We may be from the past:

A tale of love unspoken,

Feelings hidden,

And hearts broken.

I never told you I love you,

Nor did you ever.

I never said how much I cared,

But we never needed to say a word.

T'was as clear as day,

Untold but only known to us.

Maybe, the silence made it sweeter.
