"Love Between Fairy and Devil"
Poem Based on the Chinese Drama
A monster; a merciless deity
With a stern look, so domineering
Considered a threat to humanity
They strove to keep him locked away
A castaway, despised by many
He was void of empathy and feeling
At his sight, others would be trembling
But with one accidental kiss
He would be set free
A moment no one could miss
Warning of the doom to be
His power unleashed
Souls entwined
To share her pain was he destined
And forced to keep her confined
Her life belonged to him
Innocent as she was
She chose to see the good in him
And started to learn what love was
The jaded, heartless deity
Who had no fear or weakness
Would fall for the sweet fairy
As it all started with a kiss
Revenge was he after
The only way he could win
Was by killing her
But he'd do any but this sin
In a battle of the immortal
Everywhere, havoc would wreak
Saved by the brave damsel
Her life he would only ever seek
From his spirit, he'd pluck her seed
Watering her with morning dew
Tending to her every need
Till the dear orchid finally grew
Reincarnated as a goddess
With a feigned loss of memory
Intentions would go amiss
As another she seeks to marry
Her only wish was his safety
And to rid him from a wicked spirit
He goes to war to stop the matrimony
But his body is taken over by it
What an impending doom
Possessed by the evil spirit
He pleads his lover with gloom
Killing him: the only way to stop it
Despite her detriment
Hope was still in sight
Left with his spirit fragment
With love, they'd reunite
