Mason Ale Works + BlackStack Brewing Sunday Beer League Hazy Triple IPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. Tons of tropical fruit and stone fruit in the nose as well as some almost white-wine like notes. The body is quite fruity and manages to stay relatively balanced despite the 9.8%, fading to a dry, bitter finish. Nice complexity to the hop profile on this and a really sold big hazy IPA.

A luxurious #blackstack of books. One is a current read, The Pet, by Charles L. Grant. I'd talked about Gothika by Victoria Nelson recently on the show, as well as Haunted by James Herbert. We Sold Our Souls by Hendrix and The Rats by Herbert fit well side by side. A collection of Shirley Jackson rounds it all off. Lovely, if I do say so myself.

Toppling Goliath + BlackStack Safety Porpoises DIPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 4 of 4. Excellent. Really complex hop profile on this with lots of tropical fruit bursting up front, then spice and a lot of herbal and resinous qualities behind it. Quite thick body that has a lot of juicy sweetness that is nicely cut by some firm bitterness mid-body that grows in the finish.

Well @blackstackbrewing recently released Soft Jazz the second Berliner to hit stores. This is a Strawberry Berliner and I am so excited to drink it. Strawberry is a hard to achieve flavor in beer.
