#Repost @sophiedrinksbeer 🎪CIRCUS MAXIMUS: DRIFTING DAISY II 🌼 A Belgian IPA By @maximusbrouwerij Found in the @mister.hop Advent Calendar " In our search for new flavours to create the perfect drinkeability we present the 2nd edition of the Drifting Daisy (inspired by Belgian beer styles)." And I must say it's very drinkable indeed. Light blonde in colour with a slight haze but nog much. Smells fresh, with hints of hoppy zestyness. Has a small layer of white foam that disappears rather quickly. The taste is light and refreshing with a nice subtle hoppyness and a little bit of bitterness in the after taste. Hints of Lemon, grass, yellow fruit and a little bit of resin and spicyness. A mix of Aurora, Boek and Cardinal hops were used to make this beer, all courtesy of @hollandshophuis Definitely a beer I would love to drink on a terrace once the first sunny days start popping up.
