I can just imagine the domestic and 'tension' it brings to the Parrotships

Parrot having to tie his Hair into a bun that made people think that his hair is like medium length or neck length long and not the waist length long.

All of Parrots ships would be thirsting so heavily for him with his gorgeous and beautiful hair down, like;

Theorrot

Theo would constantly be asking Parrot if he could brush or braid or do anything with his while Parrot would look at him with such fondness, maybe even letting Theo braid it because of the puppy dog eyes the man gives him.

Wemmrott

Wemmbu would take such nice care of both his and Parrots hair (long haired Wemmbu headcanon ftw) like taking time out of his day to brush it and style it for Parrot to make sure it keeps out of his face and just admiring him completely with this soft look on his face.

Billrott

Billy would be pulling and tugging at Parrots hair to get his attention, much to the other's annoyance, but he likes how it frames the younger birds face when he has it down. He doesn't dare to try to braid but, if offered, he'll brush it for him when he asks.

Clownrott

Hair pulling and and dragging him by the hair when he gets on his nerves but he does help Parrot maintain it, somewhat, but he's banned from brushing it after he got his hair knotted one time while brushing it...

Ashrott

Ash, on one hand, thinks Parrot should cut it off since he keeps waking up to hair in his mouth when they share a bed but, on the other hand, waking up before Parrot and seeing his hair pool around him like a little veil has its merits.

Ooo, I have a few ideas for how some of their ceremonies look like on my end.

Parifies

Fancy I have to say, like the type of fancy that looks so grandiose and gaudy at the same time—purple and green everything with bits of silver coming in between. Oh and you know Wifies is gonna go so big and make a little speech to have Parrot lowkey flushed and then Wifies is gonna kick his feet when Parrot talks about him oh so sweetly as well.

Theorrt

Smaller scale I have to say that’s more with close friends then anything else but it’s still a celebration nonetheless with the both of them, after their vows where they both so cried, dancing the entire night away while looking into each others eyes…softly promising that they’ll be together forever as they kiss on the dance floor.

Billrott

Small ceremony, really small ceremony that might only just be them and a priest at the end of the day. It’s something private that’s just for them and no one else as they say their vows before they kiss and then Billy so easily carries Parrot, his pretty and wonderful Parrot, back home where they can just enjoy and indulge themselves in the other’s presence.

Wemmrott

I am going to say I think theirs would be similar to Billrotts with it being smaller scale except they include their best friends in it as their best man, Wemmbu being bashful and nervous when he places the ring on Parrot’s finger and Parrot laughing a little at his sudden shyness as he does the same—before they seal it with a kiss. Egg is ugly crying for his bestie in the corner while Theo is crying with him lowkey.

Surprise Bonus of Ashrott

Their wedding and ceremony was a clusterfuck of everything in the beginning and you know what it still was more of a clusterfuck when they got on the dance floor because both of them refused to let the other win—probs their first kiss there as well while Ash’s *parents*—Clown, Ferre and Branzy—enjoyed the chaos of the entire situation. It was a beautiful, magnificent moment of unadulterated drama and chaos wrapped into one bow as Parrot and Ash sneaked off to probs make out trust me I was there gang

honestly though, no matter parrots or the other dynamics, I think it adds a really fun thing between them!! another layer of "I have to outsmart this guy" or parrot making sure his instincts aren't all "hey bro... that's peak mate potential right there... you should go after them"

I think with the antagonists it adds anotherrrrr layer cuz it's like, he's trying to go against them while they're trying to use biological tricks!! i guess biggest example for me currently is parrot getting bitched in my omegaverse au 🙂‍↕️ director didn't gaf, he wanted parrot with him forever and what better way than to literally change everything about him? it hurt wifies, ofc it did, but he was desperate and nothing else he tried was working

Billy wouldn't do that, he's not... like that, but he'd def use the instincts go his advantage, same with the other antagonists (saps def would too I think)

Theo/wemmbu/flame/spoke/everyone he's close too are waaayyy sweeter to him I think.,.,, sweet little omegaverse sniffles all cuddling and sweet and just utterly adorbs when they get the downtime to do things

Oh definitely and I was hoping it would give that feeling with Billy being the 'Knight' to rescue the locked away 'Princess' that Parrot is forced to play here. Billy is also having to undertake the roll of enforcer and he can't say a word as to why both he and Parrot are working for Saps to anyone...or there will be consequences the other will suffer by doing so.

Parrot is going to clean from Billy's face and press his forehead to his while saying, "Your okay, I'm okay...where okay Billy." as Billy tries to not touch Parrot, least he stain the other bird with blood...

Speaking about Billrot AU, do Billy by any chance give Parrot any training so that he could defend himself if ever they got past that 'tension' of theirs?

Oh yes, Billy does train Parrot quite a bit and Parrot does not like it at all given that at all even when they’ve gotten along so much better.

But Parrot does it because he knows Billy, in his own subtle way, wants him to be able to keep himself safe and it makes him want to do that for him—even if half of their *training* just divulges into bickering (Billy) and hair pulling (Parrot) when they’ve both pushed at the other excessively at the time. Though I will say that Parrot has picked up on some basic combat before he and Billy started to work together because of what happened in Paragon.

Paragon left a visceral scar on Parrots entire that he felt the need to have something, anything, to keep himself safe and learning some basic combat elevated and relived the repeated nightmares he was plagued with.

So Billy pushing for him to train more helped him out a lot since he felt like he wasn’t stuck in that place again.

That could also be because it was the song I heavily listened to when I was writing the companion Billy au now and it will continue to help me in that regard (just like how Bernadette by IAMX helps me with Boomie and Noob) but also because I love the idea of, as the song goes on, Billy slowly realising that he can’t bare to be in this world if he doesn’t have Parrot.

Like, finding happiness—whether it be his happiness or suffering, anything that makes him want so desperately that it suffocates him—in being with Parrot, or having him in his arms just makes him hungry.

It makes him want in a way that no one else has ever made him need or desired until he met Parrot—it’s like switch flipped inside of his head when he saw him and then it just never went off, it’s like his mind can’t ever be turned off when he sees that bird now and it makes him go slowly insane.

Just listening to the lyrics “You’re more life itself,” makes me think of how much he needs him. Needs him like a drug or a sickly sweet candy, something that overwhelms the senses but you can’t help but want more. The type that sticks to the roof of your mouth, how you can taste it even hours after you’ve had it and it makes you crave more.

It’s what Parrot is to Billy.
