Day 3 of mtl ComicCon 2026
This time I was cosplaying Kix
Context: Jesse pranked kix telling him it was the dress code.
Here the paper I had in the back
First is for captain rex cosplay. Second for Jango Fett and third for Kix.
Couple of days ago I sketched out this scene I have in mind for Kix in an AU. This is were it's at, currently.
To give you some context. He was in stasis, just like in canon, but not nearly as long. One of his brothers, who left the Empire, stumbled upon him and took him in. Kix is a bit banged up still from the droids who took him hostage (hence the arm), and recovering Jesse's helmet has not been particularly helpful for his mental health. So he's in the trenches, at this moment. Both don't know Rex survived.. Sorry π
I gave him the 501st blue colour palette because I think that would be a comfort colour for him. But his vod gifted him his socks and now you can probably figure out who that is!
The story currently sits at 38k words btw. It's my late night project I work on when I can't sleep. And I have a lot of short nights π
edit: played a bit w light and shadows. coming from realism Iβm still a bit lost whenever I try to colour in comics. But I do like the colour scheme so far.
Kix would soothe my hypochondria so much I need him so bad yall don't understand he would be the perfect boyfriend ugh like look at him π

Kix is the one i think would suffer the most of survivor Guilt. I decided to put Jesse as his reflection. I got inspired from a panel of the comic "Boba Fett: Blood Ties". I though it fit the emotion. I try to use a new way of coloring.
