big bear task 5 (3/?) — the room where it happens

nothing interesting happens in leo’s room, so that title is a sham.

leo’s room is his sanctuary; it’s where he recharges when he gets tired of being loud and annoying, it’s where he stays for days curled up in the warmth of his sheets when he’s feeling down, it’s where he stays up late at night editing videos and/or playing computer games. it’s where he can fully unwind and be himself. (a sad bih SDKJLFDSJKLFDJL)

stepping into leo’s room, you’ll immediately recognize the comforting scent of freshly washed sheets and lemon. that’s because leo washes his bed sheets once a week; there’s nothing like a freshly made bed, with clean linen and fluffy pillows—particularly during hibernating season. he’s a really cuddly sleeper, and he can’t sleep properly without at least two pillows and recently, the ditto plushie ian had gotten him during the spring festival. above his bed are polaroid pictures of himself and his friends doing stupid shit—looking at them makes him really happy, and it especially helps on bad days.

beside the bed is his vanity table. that’s right, motherfuckers. as soon as leo rolls out of bed, he checks himself out. he keeps all of his accessories and skincare products there for easier access—amongst other things, but you didn’t hear that from me.

across from it is his work desk, where leo spends most of his time editing vlogs and brainstorming video ideas. he becomes a whole different person when he’s focused on something—he spends hours working that he constantly forgets to eat and kieran has to drag him out of his room for lunch and/or dinner. he’s considering buying a softer chair because his ass gets dummy sore after a day of editing and polishing. cal’s cage is perched right beside his laptop, but leo keeps it open and lets cal wriggle around his bed while he works. 

his closet is probably the most cluttered area in his room, but it’s fine, because he and cleo are the only ones who get to see it. leo doesn’t have an organizing system for his wardrobe, because he’s too lazy to commit to it. he has two drawers tucked inside; a drawer for his crazy sock collection, and another for miscellaneous items.

there was an empty space just between his closet and work desk, and leo absolutely hated it so he got himself a wall shelf, which is where he currently keeps his stack of books (yes, he reads), polaroid film, and a well-worn eevee figurine, a toy an old childhood friend gave him.
