Demi dating diaries- useful advice
Here is some useful advice for the ace/demi crowd around how to avoid sexual conduct in the early dating stages.
When seeing a new guy (or...any person), don't bother stating clearly at the beginning that you have boundaries around physical intimacy. He'll just think you're baiting him. Instead if he tries to touch you or pull you in, just punch him in the face before running away with his wallet.
If he laughs and backs off, return the wallet (if not, just keep running.)
I can confirm this is 100% effective in preventing forceful behavior, and establishing dominance over yourself.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Demi dating diaries- 'female behavior'
I've been seeing this really nice guy lately, but he's started asking me questions about female behavior. At first I was like 'aww he's being so considerate wanting to understand' and yeah the 'helper' in me wanted to help him understand as well.
But then I realized, A- is 'female behavior' really a thing? I've never met two girls who wanted the same thing. B- If I need to explain the basics of human behavior to someone, then I probably shouldn't be dating them. C- They may just using me to learn how to date more women.
For instance, one question was if a woman sitting alone at a bar is, in itself, an invitation to be approached.
I said I guess it depends, because some women want that, some women don't, you'd have to find out about the individual (almost like women are just normal fucking people with their own personalities???) That seemed to deter him from even wanting to try. In my case, if I go somewhere alone it's simply because I wanted to go there. The idea of a woman's mere existence being an invitation to men, is an irritating (if not deadly) male fantasy.
Any time I've been approached by a guy I don't know, he seems to have this delusion that I want to be approached, and he can't understand that he's actually being intrusive and making me extremely uncomfortable. Trying to understand where this assumption comes from just makes me feel angry.
But I've also met girls who insist that they want that kind of attention??? Which I can't relate to at all.....but to each their own I guess???
At the end of the day, I think the entire concept of 'female behavior' is ridiculous. As if people would all want the same things because they have matching body parts. Like no, you actually have to find out about her as a person??? Because that's what women are??? Just people??? With their own thoughts and desires and personalities??? It's not??? Hard??? To comprehend???

Here is another fun activity you can do to go along with book reading- choose a game or activity that you can play with your child that will help carry over some of the target words and sounds you all practiced together while reading! Here, we read a book about different occupations kids can have when they grow up and then afterwards we labeled and matched some of the people we saw within the book. We had so much fun with this activity, which was full of opportunities to use language! #betterhearingandspeechmonth #BHSM #earlylanguage #pediatricSLP #developmentalplay #playwithpurpose #learnthroughplay #shenandoahsoundstart #winchesterva #pediatrictherapy #speechtherapy #kidsptotspeech #soundstart #literacy #readtome #literacyandlanguage #languagelearning #getcreative (at Shenandoah SOUNDstart, LLC) https://www.instagram.com/p/CPDRzc9M6G_/?utm_medium=tumblr
Brown Bear Reading a book is so much more than just reading the words on the pages! There is a ton that can be added to story time such as labeling the pictures, talking about what is happening, answering questions, and expanding your child’s words and phrases, just to name a few. Check out what you can do with a simple book such as the classic “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?” by Bill Martin, Jr. and illustrated by Eric Carle.
