First question!
Dynamic: For those outside, they see Benefactor and MC as dangerous forces. One of the most influential people in society, Benefactor, and MC's great reputation as the most charming or ruthless left-hand subordinate. But Ben and MC's actual dynamic is annoyingly respected boss and begrudgingly willing MC. Ben would just randomly barge into MC's apartment 'to check if they're alive' (but bedrooms always come with knocks and asking for permission) and MC would be trying to push zim away (but to no avail, of course - Ben is annoyingly persistent). That's all I can say without spoiling too much. 🙊

Originally, I was planning on having MC live with the royal family in their palace...But thanks to a lot of the asks and after seeing how Sylphina interacts, I'm currently figuring out which situation would fit MC better.

Can I ask how is the benefactor like? About their personality and etc if not spoilery?Something tell me we'll get to meet zer again in our new life.
Benefactor, a.k.a Ben, is a bit of a loose screw.
To specify, Benefactor used to be a very stoic, serious person with a meticulous nature.
But one day, Cardenil crossed a line and an incident happened...which left Ben broken to the point of being who MC knows now.
Now Benefactor has chaotic behaviour. But that meticulous nature is still there, crueller and calculative. Ze does, however, produce small charity work and even tries to preserve whatever's left of the flora and fauna in the world. Despite humorous, laid-back behaviour, anyone who works under zim could feel the overwhelming presence and aura ze provides.
Ze does, however, care about certain individuals - specifically two: MC and zir right-hand man, Whiro [pronounced fee-roh].
But ze lost zir right-hand man during the 5 years working with MC to hunt down Cardenil and it was the first time MC got to see a glimpse of what Ben used to be - the angry, bitter, cold part of zim instead of the deranged, grinning part.

we found a a flash drive in the woods late at night. just one of those usb stick ones, nothing special. when we got back to our apartment, she plugged it into her computer
i still have no clue what happened, but when i woke up the next morning, she was just gone. she didn't take anything with her, nothing was off except for the front door being unlocked. i looked around and asked around and not a soul said they'd seen her. and i didn't find her either
the only reason i mention the flash drive is because i think it might be related? i don't know. it sounds weird, but i can't think of any other reason she would just up and leave without a word
